WHAT! Not even fair! Vodka brings out the romantic in me, and when we're talking SnL, that translates into shipping

And seriously, it was so much fun meeting all of you! Almost made up for the cancellation. Kind of. You know, it came as close as anything could have.

I missed SHIPPER talk?!

I agree about it being the best thing for that Tuesday night to meet you all. Glad you continued the party on Wed! (Was Strand there on Wed?)

What Grace said. I really enjoyed meeting everyone that came out last night. Still wish I hadn't missed out on Tuesday night, but at least I got in on day 2. I loved hearing some of the legendary stories that I've only read about from the sources themselves. It just elevates it to a whole new level for me. Thanks for sharing!!

I'm putting in out there that we need to start having regular Ledgie get-togethers every few months. So, we absolutely need to plan something for the summertime, or hopefully coinciding with a Stevie tour.

Safe travels to everyone heading back home. Can't wait till we can all do it again.

PS - Mimi - not sure I"ll ever be able to walk down 45th street without thinking of you ever again. Flat out busted funniest moment for me last night.

Holy sh*tballs, Dani. You met Mr. Big!!! How awesome is that?

You're a brave soul to go out wearing that, especially on such a chilly night. I'm sure you made lots of dairy queens at the Ritz very happy.

There may have been some shipper talk. Maybe. Who even remembers?

Strand was there early on, but unfortunately had to head out early.
I don't think anyone missed much at the Ritz, though--the DJ was not into making it a Stevie/IYD night. Stand Back was followed by about 5 non-Stevie songs, so I went up to request Rooms on Fire, which he didn't seem to have heard of! I then asked for Edge and was given a "whoa, crazy Stevie fan" look and told, "Okay, hun...we'll see...maybe later."

I don't know why we haven't formally met. Maybe we should do dinner sometime and have crazy Stevie talk.
