Ditto. I would love to have 2 albums in 2 yrs. Can you imagine ?? I would be over the moon not to have to wait another 10 yrs. ! I just can't see her NOT touring for this cd though. As good as another album sounds, reality is she'll prob tour !

Something is going with her. I think she really likes Dave a lot as a producer. She has searched for years after Jimmy left. I think she is like Eureka.

So maybe the Webster Hall concert was going to be the one show for the album and she was /is going to do alot of press and tv for IYD. I didn't buy tickets for the NY show but if she reschedules, maybe I should try to go. It may be the only chance to see her sing any songs from this album.

We don't want that!!

But, if she's able to tour every summer (almost) why wouldn't this be the same? She wasn't promoting an album so I don't get why it depends on if the album sales or not!.

"Australians all let us rejoice,
For we are young and free;"

At the start of November in Melbourne Cup.. I'm gonna say she's coming for that.

And she is right, they do very well here and don't need a record at all

As for the U.S please, you guys get to see her constantly, whereas I haven't seen Stevie solo - ever!
In saying that I feel you guys are scaring yourself into thinking she's not going to tour the U.S - she's just being coy, probably trying to entice bigger offers?? Who knows but As Perez and others have said.. She is Stevie Nicks.. and she will tour the U.S especially if she will Australia.
She in the U.K soon too.. It'll all string together (pneumonia not being a factor)

Stevie has resorted to using Lindsey's quotes but she just can't seem to piece it together - "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" - that was one hysterical moment. I wonder if she even knows why that's sticking in her head.

She did look great. I thought she might look a little green around the gills.

Amazing Peace. That's kind of amusing.

No fights they've had in the last few years have leaked out and reached the public surface. After the SYW tour, dissension was obvious. This time around, everyone has been so diplomatic it's almost disconcerting.

Although, since Lindsey said that he thought he'd be doing something else right now, other than making a solo album, I gather that they might have disagreed on the timing of the next FM project. Michele

I really hope nobody has to miss out seeing Stevie if/when she does tour, here in Australia, in the US, UK and everywhere else her fans are. We all love Stevie! Right around the globe...

Agreed - it's great news for us! It will be my first Stevie solo show too and I can't wait. It's a little creepy actually because I was thinking about her touring in November this afternoon - I have to go to Perth for work in late November and I was thinking 'What's the bet she comes then and I manage to miss her?' But I think you're right - she won't want to miss the Melbourne Cup! (Even though that old nag of hers doesn't seem to be much chop.)

And my fingers and toes are crossed for you folks in the UK and Europe (and the US too - but I would be *extremely* surprised if that didn't happen).

A couple of things don't make sense in this interview: the thing about how the sales of the new album will determine if she tours this summer, which has been discusses ad nauseum on this board. As someone pointed out, she's toured with greatest hits albums (Crystal Visions), etc. so her logic about whether or not the new album sells and how that will influence touring doesn't make any sense. Maybe she doesn't want to tour, maybe she's tired of it right now (due to the tour w/Rod) and wants to do other things? I also wondered if maybe the Rod tour was a barometer for the public's demand of seeing her live. Does anyone know how successful the tour was? Maybe she was waiting to see how that would go off to determine whether or not she wanted to tour solo.

Another thing that doesn't make sense: the comment about how she didn't put out a solo record 5 or more years ago because of the state of the music industry (piracy, etc.) and now things are better, because, as Stevie says, "the situation has been fixed." As far as I can tell, piracy is still going strong and not much has changed with regard to illegal downloading--the sitch has most assuredly NOT been fixed and probably never will be. I thought that excuse was REALLY thin. There's got to be another reason why this album was so delayed.
