I am worried they are not stocking enough. I saw only one copy at Target and I bought the only copy at Barnes and Noble.

the thing is it has been #1 on Barnes and Noble website. They have got to order some more

This is the 2nd day in a row that she's been at #2 on Amazon (this year's top-selling album, Adele's 21, remains at #1), and she was top 5 on iTunes when I checked last night. HDD has made too many gross miscalculations based on 1-day sales, so I'll wait for at least three days of retail. Stevie has the reviews, tons of press - even her show cancellation was a top item on websites with huge traffic, and with American Idol on the way, she's going to do acceptable numbers.

Listen, for a 62 year-old female competing in the American music market it's better than it could be. And considering the tepid promotion WB has done for this record, I think a top 10 placement would be respectable and probably would get another week's worth of press.

JLo has the advantage of having a song at radio that is on a number of formats and is selling on iTunes, plus she is on a tv show that, in case you hadn't noticed, everybody but Jesus seems to watch. I would rather listen to cats fight in an alley, but that's just me.

And it's unfortunate that there isn't more support, but it is what it is. I'm just happy to have IYD playing in my car, in my apartment and in my ear buds. She made it for us, and that's good enough for me.

The Barnes & Noble here had a slot with about 4 0r 5 CDs when I picked mine up yesterday at opening. I think the associate was in the process of stocking everything so there may have been more. Also they had a slot filled at the register for impulse buys. Not sure how other stores are stocking...I was not expecting to see the CD at Target .....are they carrying it?

It does seem odd that Nicks has been doing better than Lopez on iTunes and Amazon for days (Lopez only started heating up iTunes yesterday I believe) yet Lopez is still projected to sell 20,000 more copies?

Does this estimate include pre-sale numbers?

I wonder. Did Lopez have a big presale or something. I don't understand. I'm a chart whore. She only started beating Stevie on iTunes late last night. And one has to wonder if she is really. beating Stevie on iTunes. Both of Stevie's versions have done well on iTunes. She's not beating her at Amazon. Stevie is kicking butt. Lopez was doing horrible on Amazon, in the 100s, until last night.

Something funny though, Fleet Foxes may sale a lot records, but they are going to make much. They have been dirt cheap for a couple of months.

Yeah me too, I love following the charts. I wish album sales are what they used to be though. It used to be exciting when albums had a pretty good shot at going Gold and many could go multi-platinum.

Stephen Tyler is too later this month. He's got a new single coming out. They got a great platform.

snippet from billboard today - i dont think they are counting all the presale cd's that were sold. i will be interested to see the numbers when they start coming in on monday.

Also aiming for likely top 10 entries are Stevie Nicks' "In Your Dreams" and Musiq Soulchild's "Musiqinthemagiq."

One notable re-entry next week might be Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album, which is profiting from the power of Fox's "Glee." The TV series dedicated its entire May 3 episode to the 1977 No. 1 album -- which spent 31 weeks atop the chart. Six of the set's 11 songs were performed by the cast, while another was heard in its original form as background music

US chart preview: Adele 140-160k | Beastie Boys, Now 38 110-120k | Fleet Foxes 80-90k | @JLo 60-65k | Stevie Nicks 45-50k.

At least they upped her tallie a little
