Just got off the phone with The Borgata to cancel Thursday night's reservation since my friend and I won't be in NYC for the show tomorrow

...I asked if they had heard anything yet and as far as they know, the show is still on. I bet we will know for sure tomorrow.

Just cancelled our train tickets too since we won't be traveling from NYC to NJ...we'll just drive Friday from CT if the show is still on.

It is such a depressing feeling slowly erasing the fabulous week that this was going to be...

I know its tough, I'm still in the middle of the road, I got 4th row tickets to the Indio show and was planning this fabulous trip staying a few days in Palm Springs.

I still havent made rsvp yet so I'm good to go there....now just waiting to see if the show will go on?

Without traffic, it's a 4 1/2 hr drive for me. I was thinking about leaving at 7 a.m....what is the longest it has ever taken you?

Thats about right.It takes me about the same.some time Sometimes I take my time which could turn out about 6 hours.I like to stop in Holmdel and take a break.

Borgata is canceled.

No word yet on a possible rescheduling date. My Mom just got off the phone with an employee who works there.

Are you kidding? No reschedule!?!?!?! I am beyond bummed out and my "In Your Dreams" high has been officially crushed. So unbelievably disappointing.

Don't get too discouraged yet. Refunds available sounds like those wanting them--can get them. Some people don't want to wait for a reschedule/don't know if they can make it another date, etc.
And it almost sounds like you have to initiate it.
I guess we'll see what hapens tomorrow.

It's a little discouraging but I don't see all this new activity just fading into the night without it ever taking off.

Sadly, The Borgata website says 'Concert Cancelled.' Then the information about the refunds is below that.

I know...my heart was just starting to fly with all the excitement and then such a quick turn for the worse this week..My emotions don't know what to do with themselves

So disappointing..then the Perez interview made it sound like she doesn't know if she'll tour cause she just got done doing 18 shows with Rod ( "So we pretty much did the US") ! What??.. and she said was going to Australia in November....She said unless this album takes off like a rocket and she gets lots of offers she doesn't know if she'll tour???????!!!!!!!

I'm right there with you sister. First NYC now this. The interview with Perez where she isnt sure whether she is touring at all doesnt help one bit. I can't put on the new album without a wave of sadness flowing through me.

I figured it was going to get canceled.My bosses said she could not recover in a couple of days.let her rest.she probably reschedule somewere in AC this summer like she always does.probably not the Borgata or maybe so at the Borgata.With her last minute on the fly tour planning makes it hard to book at these places.For me I rather see concert tours in the summer.not any other season.I'm ahead on this one.the only thing I got to do is get the ticket refund.hotel and other things like time from work are taking care of with no problem.
