Mac Poster Help

hey all! I would really like to purchase a FM poster--from any era but i cannot seem to find any that are regular poster size and an actual picture of the band as oppose to paintings and such. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I was in your shoes once.

Then I went to Ebay and now I have TONS of Mac posters.

I paid over $90 for an original TUSK poster ( yeah, stupid move but that was years ago) and it has all 5 members and its gorgeous.

I paid over $60 for a poster of Stevie and Lindsey ( that small one they always have on Ebay, yeah , again too much money)

I paid about 40 for a Greatest Hits poster that has the BTM band and also the 1977 band underneath ( I think I got that at a record store, old record stores have some rare posters too, every town has one)

I paid alot for a CHAIN boxset poster that really rocks...it has tons of pics.

The Rumours chicken coop poster is always on ebay.

So I recommend you go to Ebay, just don't pay what I did!

What I do is type in Fleetwood Mac poster and it will just show the posters and keep bidding. I FINALLY won a Wild Heart poster after my 4th time but I just wouldn't go above $25 and it kept showing up. Trust me, you can have like 10 posters in about 6 months, just be patient

Thats on Ebay all the time. I just lost it actually ( Im broke I need to stay away!) but they have so many of those.

Look up Stevie Nicks poster and you'll see at least one!

My favorite is the the Wild Heart promo psoter by Herbie Worthington. It's on heavy paper and it's hand tinted. I have a smaller version of it that I've had for a while now.

Ebay is definitely a good source to obtain and sell posters. I recently sold a Street Angel poster to someone. I have bought several posters through Ebay and have been satisfied.
The Rolling Stone Cover Poster from 1997 is a nice one and the Tusk double sided poster, too.

Do a search through Google on "Fleetwood Mac Posters" and a lot of sites will pop up there. If you are a more serious collector, there are some sites who specialize in orginal concert posters. I've bought a few that I really like, are signed by the poster artist, and then I had them professionally framed. One is the 5/7/77 FM show in Oakland (sweet poster-my favorite) and I also have one from Stevie and Friends Concert in Sept 2000 (cool poster and I was there.) Ebay is good too, but sometimes you can find those posters cheaper by searching the web and buying the posters directly instead of through a middle man.

There is a stunning litho of FM for the release of SYW. Its on the same thick paper and quality of Stevie's TISL Litho (Meditating w/indian colorful background). I got mine on ebay of course for $40. It has embossed below in the same script as the album 'Fleetwood Mac' then 'Say You Will'. The photo on the litho is the same as the CD insert middle (they are recording in a white room).

The Stevie TISL has been going for $100 - $50 - $40, depends (I dont know why).

There is also the L/E SYW Cd that came with its own poster, fold out B&W of film negatives (you can see each photo).

That 77 Oakland one Mac is referencing is a BEAUTY.

Ive seen one on ebay once, a group poster from 75 or 76 with a HWW photo on it, has "FM" in black font in the upper L or R corner (cant remember which). Stevie has brown hair still, curls. It is a poster though, not a blow up. Its pretty hard to find, but Ive seen it 1-2x's.

Id recommend using ebay, but do some homework first and "watch" auctions so you dont end up overpaying.

PS - there was a poster that came with the pre-order of the SYW CD from FM or MF direct, but the poster is CRAPPY QUALITY and design. I could have done a better job, looks like it was on a dot matrix printer.
