Exactly. At Stevie's age this is very serious. Prayers up for Stevie's recovery.

and here's when MIRIAM steps in:

who ever decided to spend the money, regardless if they had it or not, IS THEIR BUSINESS. i truly don't believe anyone here gives a damn about how much net worth you have, what your real name is and if you live in phoenix.

knock it off. you were being condescending and just down right rude. Stevie Nicks is dear to my heart, all of ours, and everyone should understand if someone went out of their way to see her. if you don't understand that..............Y ARE YOU HERE?! *scratches head and looks around* lol! (and no i'm not saying "get out".....i'm just sayin)

ok i'm done. you don't like what i posted............tough. MODS.......do what you will, i respect your position. i'm just sick and tired of the downers!

I am praying for her to get well soon.

I've decided not to come out for the one day after all. I just can't rally and am taking a mental health day instead and just chilling out. I'm sad I won't get to meet you and others, Danielle. You really are in one of the most awesome places.

Note to self, don't travel for Stevie unless you have a damn good Plan B set up!

One last thing, her father smoked into his old age AND he was involved in the Arizona Heart Institute. Addiction is a serious familial illness and without taking treatment seriously it is nearly impossible to beat. And I think Eric Roberts (one of last season's Celebrity Rehab patients) would attest to the fact that pot is not exactly a "soft" drug. I get the difference between it and heroin/opiates but it robs people of their motivation. Without it we may not have had to wait 10 years for this release.

If she show up for Borgata then she didn't have pneumonia. Pneumonia puts a person down for six or so weeks.

Well...I got my reason....that little ticketmaster "error" saved me thousands of dollars.

I feel bad for the people who actually flew to NY just to find out the show was cancelled.

One thing I will never understand when I read this board is why people would spend money they do not have. I have read comments like, " I spent money I didn't have on this trip".... Why would someone go in debt to see a concert or spend money they do not have to fly to a city to see a concert? I am really just trying to understand what it is that would motivate someone to spend money they don't have? Yes, the experience of seeing Stevie is priceless but c'mon. Really?
It's called living in the moment. Some people realize there may not be a tomorrow or very few tomorrows.

First of all...I have been a member of this board for a very long time, I see you are a newbie, so don't tell me to knock it off....by the way, knock what off? Asking questions? trying to understand?

You asked why am I here...I am here because I am a stevie nicks fan and have been since I saw her in 1975....to me, being a fan does not mean that a person should drive themselves into debt. As I read this thread I saw people who said they could not afford this, but did it anyway, so I asked a reasonable question. Jeesh, now let it go.

Maybe someone can call Liz Rosenberg's office and ask her where Stevie is. Seriously though Liz says whatever she's paid to say so I wouldn't trust any of that either.

If she makes it to the Borgata show (very good chance she'll do the Indio show) then your right she can't have Pneumonia? If there will be a canc . for Friday we should be hearing about it soon?

I know, where do we keep getting this Stevie's in London? Especially when it was Liz herself saying "doc says stay in bed and do not fly", Especially London

Unless......... Liz was "paid" to say that

Someone needs to ask that damn moth if she's in London or California! Is she really sick or having a bout of self ivolved-ness over a potential terrorist attack? Does she know Suze Orman? And if she does, does Stevie think Suze is a bit crackers like that batsh*t aunt everyone has?

I've also been a Stevie Nicks fan since 1975. What does that have to do with ignorance? The reason why some people "lurk" is because of the well known attitudes of some of the posters here at the "Ledge". "newbies" aren't "allowed" to state how they feel when someone is bashing someone else?? I can't believe I'm even responding to this nonsense. I spend money I don't have to see the one idol of my life, Stevie Nicks. And I don't see what is so "hard to understand". What I don't understand is your need to judge these fans..and to make it sound like there's something wrong with what they're doing. If I waited till I could "afford" the concerts I'd probably never get to see any. This is my only post on this matter. So feel free to bash away. bash away. bash away all.
