Me Playing an "In Your Dreams" song on Piano- Which One Should It Be?

Musicman408 · #1 05-01-2011, 09:39 AM

I know this is a somewhat self serving thread, but I haven't recorded a piano video for you all in quite some time, and I would love to teach myself an IYD song.... all of them really. I was wondering if you all had any opinions on which song you'd like to see me play, because honestly I'm at a loss of words for this album! . ALLL of them are fair game!!

Much Love,
Ethan

Oooh, what a great idea! Moonlight is an obvious choice, but I think New Orleans would be really sweet on a piano. Can't wait to hear it, whatever you choose

Please do "Moonlight", thank you! It's an amazing song. By the way, have you ever been interested in doing one of those collaborations on a cover song, where one person from youtube plays guitar, one other person plays bass, and someone sings?

WildHearted · #4 05-01-2011, 06:26 PM

You should do Moonlight! I love the piano in that song.

Oh, and if you ever want to collaborate with a singer like the above person suggested let me know, I will PM you my youtube

Hey all- thanks for recommendations!!

I haven't considered a colab, as I'm not totally familiar with it, but it's something we could talk about.

I think I'm going to do Moonlight- I'll try to have it up, maybe as soon as Tuesday!! Who knows, maybe Stevie's people will see it, and hire me for her band this summer!

We should start a FB group!

Hello Wild Hearted, my name is Marty. Yes, there should be collabo with us fans. Good luck Musicman408, can't wait to hear it!

Definitely going to be recording Moonlight- should probably get around to it this weekend!

Nightbird17 · #8 05-17-2011, 08:41 PM

Any update on Moonlight?

Musicman408 · #9 05-17-2011, 09:15 PM

I have practiced it. So sorry I haven't recorded it. I actually got very sick on the week of finals. Currently unpacking from school and haven't found my camera, but as soon as I do- I'll be posting. It's actually a beautifully simple song to play!

Thanks so much for you interest!

Hey all, just a note- I'll be trying to record Moonlight tomorrow!
