Wow this sucks, I hope she feels better soon and still can get some of the promoting done.
I hope they reschedule the Webster Hall thing, IYD is her first album in 10 years and it might be her last ever, she worked hard and deliverd an outstanding piece of work, the girl deserves a fabulous release party (even if it's a little later) with her friends and fans! But first she should take care of herself.

How long are you in NY for Daniel? I know it may not be an consolation but if you attend NOTS I have some awesome Stevie videos that I will be premiering the first hour.

damn... soooo disappointed. I was supposed to fly out tomorrow am. Strange but I've had this weird uneasy feeling all day. Been out all day shopping for the trip and getting my hair cut but I couldn't shake this weird feeling. Guess maybe I had some sort of gut feeling something like this would happen. Luckily I was able to cancel my flight and hotel. I feel so bad for Dani and others already there. I'm so sorry. Hope you can still have some fun and make the most of it. Poor Stevie. I hope she rests and takes care of herself!!!

Going to check my mailbox now... maybe my CD is here. That will make me feel a little better.

this is a bummer... but at least there's a great new CD that we all can enjoy. and for those of us in NYC, there's always NOTS at the end of the week -- which in my book still qualify this as "stevie week"

Oh my god. I'm beyond devastated. If I had found out about this an hour ago I could still have gotten my hotel money back. This was supposed to be the best birthday ever. Now it's going to be the worst. I spent money I didn't even have to go to this show. This is the second time this year I've flown somewhere for a concert only to have it cancelled. I guess I should be thankful I only got to Chicago and not all the way to New York.

Please let this be a nightmare.

Step away from the laptop and get out there! What part of town are you staying? Go to a Broadway show tonight. It's not quite the same as seeing Stevie, but it is still "cultch-ah." I heard "Tales of Mormon" was not to be missed. Queue up at the TKTS booth in the middle of Times Square and see what they've got on offer.

That's over an hour from the city with no traffic (ha!). It's a nice little town for what it is.
