Yes, Jake... it was not a Superman film. No magic... no feeling. The only "wow" part of the movie was when Superman rescues a crashing airplane, which conveniently has Lois Lane onboard.

Hemsworth is pretty fine. I'd watch a movie just to look at him.

John, he is JACKED up in this movie. For real, when he came on screen with no shirt on there was like a silence and then a "Ooooh" from half the women in the audience. It almost didnt even look real, as he's so frickin massive next to Natalie Portman.

We do. A shared beer or 10 is a must at some point in the future.

I'm in North-East Scotland so about 6 or so hours from Manchester (North of England). Hey, I'm actually down that way every so often because I have friends there so who knows, I'm happy to maybe head down just then and finally meet up! If not before. I'd love a trip to NZ. I have friends who spent a year there and lived in Wellington and lovd it. They're back in the UK now but I've been told by them over and over again that I need to go too.

It is indeed the greatest place in the world. But then again, my basis for comparison is fairly limited.

Oh I'm fine with most beers/ales etc and I'll always try ones I haven't had before. There will be plenty new ones for me to try. I can give you a couple of tips for really nice ales though: If you can you should try Chocolate Drop and Mellow Yellow.

I'm also always up for some nice proper cider and Guiness always goes down easy.
