This is stupid. She actually has a point about TISL. It went Gold with a month after release. The sales slowed down significantly after that, which is debatable as to the 9/11 connection, but its true that her tour was thrown off significantly and commerce DID slow down a lot shortly after 9/11. I think she has a point.

I thought it was because she shipped half a million copies but then it never shipped anymore...?

Ding dong Osama's dead.

I'm not rejoicing though.

Oh.

I was not intending for this to be a chit-chat topic, more of a joke about Stevie, but if the Moderators see fit to move it here, I guess that's out of my hands.

Oh grow up. I was making a joke about the irony around the timing of this event.

When McVeigh was executed not many here celebrated...The terror outlived the act.

Like many I am concerned now, I'm not dancing with joy with his killing.

Back to the underground...

I agree with those who have expressed discomfort at the celebrations that are going on.

Am I happy that justice has been served? Absolutely.

But to grave dance in the manner that some people are...I just find appalling.

And as even as a die-hard Democrat, it SICKENS me that so many people are talking about this as an Obama victory, or a Bush failure. This is a serious time for America, and HARDLY the place to point political fingers.

Really, someone explain the humor to me. A man is dead. There are thousands who died with under his influence and the influence of others of similar beliefs. I like to think I can sense a good joke. Where's this one at?
