Do you know if I can buy the cd at the store itself? with the extra song? That is at Barnes & Noble or is it only online?? Just wondering. Thanks!!

The vocal was a little off, though, and judging by the performances Dave got out of Stevie, if they rerecorded it, My Heart should be perfection. I hope so!
Exactly.

I've been waiting for this song to be released for several years now. I want it so bad.

It sounds very similar, but she did re-record it. I like it a lot!

Spoiler:

The music sounds very much the same to me as the demo. No drastic changes. There is a little bit of a musical bridge and some "ooh yeahs". The chorus is the same as the demo, but here are the words to the verses:

Like the eyes to the soul from across the room.
And the crowd fades away and we stand alone
Just like nothings changed after all these years
Well it's all the same
And you're not to blame

And the first sign of light, well it lifted my heart.
As if some kind of wings came and lifted me up.
And so became your face, your name
After all these years
it's all the same.

What were the demo lyrics to My Heart? I can't find them, and I haven' t heard the demo yet but I don't want to listen because I decided that I want one song to be a suprise like music wise...

I've been wondering the same thing. Nothing on the website says the "Bonus track" version is pre-order only or web-exclusive. So I'll be going to Barnes and Noble to buy the CD, hoping that they might have the Bonus version in the store. If not, I'll buy the standard version.

Shadows and the first sign of life
Lifted my heart, as if some kind of wings
Lifted me up, and so became
Your face, your name
After all these years, it's still the same
And you're not to blame

Well, my heart still stops when I stand before you
And my heart still breaks when you take my hand
And my eyes still close when someone speaks your name
You understand, it's all the same

Windows, like the eyes to the soul
From across the room, and the crowd fades away
You stand alone, like nothing's changed
Your face, your name
After all these years, it's still the same
You're not to blame

Well, my heart still stops when I stand before you
And my heart still breaks when you take my hand
And my eyes still close when someone speaks your name
And you understand
It's all the same

My heart still stops when I stand before you
And my heart still breaks when you take my hand
And my eyes still close when someone speaks your name
And you understand

Well, my heart still stops when I stand before you
Ooh, and my heart still breaks when you take my hand
And my heart still cries when someone speaks your name
And you understand
It's all the same
It's all the same
