She really didn't do that badly, in the scheme of things. It could have been a lot worse honestly haha. Miley sounds much better when she sings songs like this rather than attempting to belt out mindless pop stuff that's out of her range.

It's actually pretty good I have to say. If it brings the song to another generation than I have no problems with it. I like her Stevie-esque top too.

I think this is a perfect song for her, with her growing up and moving on from HM. It's a little rough around the edges and that's not a bad thing. I wouldn't hate a polished version recorded from Miley.

I feel like Miley gets a really bad rap just because she was at one point associated with Disney/Hanna Montana/corporately-created child-music crap.
And all of that is true. But she has a great voice, she seems to be very down-to-earth, and a big fan of Stevie's music. I give her a ton of credit for continuing to pursue a career beyond her Disney days, and doing so by paying homage to those who paved the way for her. Good for her. Keep it up, Miley. |

It isn't even bad, honestly. Just the actual concept of it all. MILEY CYRUS. Singing LANDSLIDE. Oh my god what the hell.

Miley gets a lot of flack but I think if she went the folk/country/acoustic route which her voice is obviously suited for, she could be taken a lot more seriously and actually be quite good. It's a shame she's limited creatively by her Disney/HM past and her current record company trying to sell her as a pop-star which she, quite simply, isn't cut out to be.

So much better than Dixie Chicks! Just nice and a little bit sad, and the guitar accompaniment is right on the nail. I'm impressed!
