I posted to congratulate the couple, I wasn't looking for an argument but you obviously were. Why the hell can't you just appreciate the country you live in and the heritage we have. Thats why an estimated 2 billion people were tuning into the Royal wedding. As I said they are a beautiful couple who signify hope over adversity. It's just a shame you find yourself on the wrong side of the argument.
I don't feel any need to say anything when the emboldened comment is in your reply. It speaks for itself, dear.

Like I said you were the one to take issue with my post.

Don't be so patronising love, It just portrays your attitude problem further. Get over it.

Patronising? Moi? Never. Not when your arguments are the apitamy of exactly what you are accusing me of being. Didn't your parents ever teach you that there is no wrong side of an argument?

Coompared to most 85 year olds I know, she is. Though I suppose she does have the money to indulge in preservatives.

the heck with the argument, I wanna know about this english "comfort" food!?! Have you had any of this before Mark?

"bubble and squeak with confit shoulder of lamb and miniature Yorkshire pudding with roast filet of beef and horseradish mousse."

I never found William that attractive either. I'd take Harry though.

Yes. I'm sure if William didn't want her up there with the rest of the family, she wouldn't have been.

Indeed. She is pretty popular with William and Harry by all accounts and if they didn't want her there, she wouldn't have been there. You don't get invited to these things by default, look at Sarah Ferguson Knocking Camilla is a bit of a cheap shot, really. She's not that bad looking for her age, and she wasn't bad looking when she was young. They shouldn't have stopped Charles marrying her in the first place, then Diana could have just been left alone, and we wouldn't have had to see her on the front page of the Daily Express every day for 25 years.

And I think you have to be pretty sour not to appreciate that we can put on a pretty good show when we feel like it, and that half the rest of the world would kill to have the kind of tradition that we've got. And of course, they spend a fortune when they come to have a look at it. Everyone's a winner.
