I'm forcing myself to wait...until the entire thing is in my hot little hands...then I can take it all in...so hard after listening (only once) to 30 second snippets....

I will be strong and not cave!

I left 6 songs (7 if My Heart is counted) for release day. I feel ok with that.

*There are ZERO spoilers in this message. Just wanted to preface this what that!*

It might sound weird, but I'm picking and choosing what I'm exposing myself to before May 3rd. As soon as I got home from work yesterday, I brought up The Rolling Stone streams and went right for Moonlight, as it was my favourite on the album trailer and I simply could not wait to hear the finished version. I listened to bits and pieces of other songs too, but managed to stop myself from listening to the full tracks. And I am staying completely clear of the album info thread on here - I want the liner notes to be a complete surprise. So I'll still be falling in love with the album for the first time with you guys on the 3rd, but I needed to supply myself with a small fix. You guys have amazing strength for holding out, and it's incredibly admirable! Wish I had your willpower!

That's the reason I'm holding out too. I did listen to tracks 2 and 3, "For What's It Worth" and "IYD" but for me, there is nothing fun about sitting in front of the pc listening to music. I want to be in my car (my favorite place to enjoy music - when not VJing) therefore I'll wait until Tuesday or sooner if my CD copy from Warner arrivest first. I tried, I really did try!! But as soon as I got to the Rolling Stone link last night the album starts playing, and I just couldnt stop!!!!

Hope to not do that again untill I get the CD...

It's so hard waiting. I listened to a few snippets, but just as I suspected, I feel jilted. I have decent speakers on my laptop, but I've got a really good surround system in my home. And that's the inimacy I want. IYD loudly filling the space of my house, permeating my senses, making an impact. I can not wait!

I'm old school. I want the CD and liner notes in front of me, so that my first experience hearing the album is in lossless quality on my stereo.

I started listening to the album at work, but halfway through "For What It's Worth" I stopped....too many distractions for me to really let it sink in. I've made it this far; so I'll just wait now.

Trust me, it's not been easy! I keep reading all these amazing reviews from fans and critics. I am so excited!! I will be at our local record store at midnight and running out to my car and rocking out! This is going to be such a long weekend!

Ok.......So I broke down and listened to the stream. Let me preface this by saying I have be very critical of Stevie's work since RAL. I've been called on it a couple times on this board. I understood it..but stood by my guns.

Having said that.....In your dreams is easily the finest piece of work Stevie's done. There...I said it Ledgies. I must tell you, there is a passion in this album I have not heard ssince Bella Donna.

Some of my Highlights include.

For what it's Worth. I latched on to this one immediately. Beautiful Tune. I love her voice on this one.

Wide Sargasso Sea. This one flat out rocks. smiler in tone to Illume. Just WAY better. Great tune.

Annibel Lee. Just makes me smile.

Ghosts are gone. This one kicks ass. So rocking it shook my room.

Italian Summer. This one made me cry. When I heard the line, "Love was everywhere you just had to fall." I stopped the song, ripped my headphones off....and cried. I think because that lyric applied to my life....And my teenage years. The point is, no song has done that to me in ages

. I loved the whole album.....but those are some highlights.

anyway. I wanted to tell you guys.....Stevie's finally made an album that i've connected to. And I can't Wait till may 3rd.
