This is amazing. I'm in shock.
Dani and I were just talking about this too. I don't think there are any filler/skip-worthy songs. This sucker is meant to be listened to start to finish, too. I definitely consider it a concept album. It unfolds and reveals new layers with each listen. D@mn Stevie, you have done your harshest critic fan proud.

I'm so proud of Stevie.
Yes yes yes YES YES YES.

Absolutely F*CKING PERFECT!!!! Some cute/adorable songs, some very lyrical songs, some hardcore rocking songs that kick ass!!! Will give a song by song after I take a nap or something, this was a WORKOUT!!!

BTW, am I the only one whose jaw hit the floor at the guitar solo on ELY?!?!? TOTALLY KICK ASS!

Dave has been a wonderful addition to Stevie's musical life. I love the different and unexpected chord changes in these songs. As someone else said, these songs are fully realized.

Default Stevie Delivers the Goods!

Well, it rocks more than RAL! I just love "For What It's Worth" and would rate it as one of my Top 5 Stevie songs ever. "In Your Dreams" is very catchy, very danceable. And my 3rd favorite would be "Ghosts Are Gone," which just rocks out.

My initial reaction puts this CD in my Top 3 Stevie albums ever. It seems more relevant than TISL, and the music/arrangements are really top-notch.

This is LEAGUES about TISL for me. Leagues.

Definitely in my top 3 Stevie albums, if not top 2...

I definitely agree about the 'no punches pulled' style lyrics, which to me are also very reminiscent of the better parts of Street Angel in a really good way. That was the last comparison I would have wanted or expected to be making. I still have to say that as much as I enjoy that facet of her songwriting, I simply can't compare the more straightforward numbers to the likes of 'Moonlight', 'Annabel Lee', 'Italian Summer' and 'Wide Sargasso Sea', which I think of as mood pieces in a way.

Having said that, I think this record rather deftly straddles that slim territory that falls between a record drowning in a bit too much chiffon and esoteric mysticism (sort of like TOSOTM and WH), and an overly prosaic, dare I say dull record (More like Street Angel and the middle of TISL).

Yes, this record recalls the simple beauty of Bella Donna all grown up, mature and sophisticated. The musical finesse and refinements really elevate this record as a whole above anything else she has released as a solo artist. This is a defining moment in Stevie's career. She really has evolved.

If this is her last solo album then she has truly ended it with a masterpiece!

Default Entertainment Weekly Gives IYD an "A"

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY (website):

We'll never complain about hearing Stevie warble the word dreams; indeed, several times here she comes remarkably close to Fleetwood Mac's platinum-plated best. But In Your Dreams, Nicks' first studio album since 2001, is also streaked with the witchy-woman weirdness only she can bring: On ''New Orleans,'' she recalls her eternal desire to ''wear feathers and lace,'' while ''Soldier's Angel'' finds her intoning ominously about war. Crystal visions? Still intact.
Rating: A

Download these:
Plaintive ballad For What It's Worth
Strings-enriched Italian Summer

ALSO: US Weekly will be giving it 4 out of 4 stars in the next issue, calling it her best solo album ever.
