Smile What is most important to you?

I see that there are snippets and there is a thread that someone has received their copy.I am going to wait til Tuesday. Getting back to my point of this thread, to you, what do you want IYD strong points to be? Such as the lyrics ,the music, the critics,is the movie going to be something special,do all of songs work together as a unit, is this album going earn any awards, are record sales important, is there going to be a wave of new fans and so forth .To me it is the lyrics. I got a feeling that this may be Stevie's best group of lyrics ever. To me for all of the things that I listed and those that haven't even thought of to become true I believe the writing has to be strong and very strong. What do you think is important???

Most important to me....is the feeling that the songs will have. It's important to me that this sound like a Stevie Nicks album, which really hasn't happened for me since The Other Side of the Mirror.

Street Angel and Trouble In Shangri La are great albums, but they don't have the same feeling as Bella Donna or Rock A Little.

For example, songs like Love Changes or Listen To The Rain, these are good songs but they don't feel like Stevie Nicks songs, at least not in the same way as How Still My Love or No Spoken Word.

So, I guess that's the most important thing for me.

I think what makes this album really special is how excited Stevie herself seems to be about it. It sounds like she had great fun making it and is really proud of the finished product. I think that's wonderful

For me, though, I think it's important that the album has a coherent feel to it and that the songs make sense when you put them all together into one package, if that makes sense.

I got what I wanted ,this is classic Stevie as a writer. To top it off this is best she has done vocally since the 'White Album' and 'Rumours'. I am in heaven.
