Default One Week!!!!

Only one week left! For those of us who did the preorder limited fan edition, I'm thinking they'll have to mail them out by Saturday at the latest to ensure delivery by street date, so some of us may get them a day early! Unless they're planning to ship them out next day air on Monday. It's really killing me at this point, thinking our copies are packaged in their boxes, with the lithograph all rolled up inside next to it, just waiting in some warehouse somewhere collecting dust until they ship them. I got TISL a month before street date & it totally killed the surprise on release day, so I figure I've waited this long, another week won't kill me, but it's gonna be really hard not to buy a copy from itunes at midnight next week. I just want my first listen to be complete with the lyric booklet, bottle of wine, candles, etc. The digital download just isn't the whole package, for me. But I wonder if itunes will let you download the individual video for Secret Love without buying the entire album? That would be enough to hold me over until the mail comes Tuesday at noon...

I figure the Limited Edition will come late. So I'm planning on downloading the entire album from iTunes when clock strikes 12:01 early Tuesday morning. It may be avialable a little sooner. I'll probably spend the whole night and next day encoding the album into my brain. Doubt I'll get any sleep.

I decided against the pre-order, going under the assumption that my local record store will have the deluxe version. So my plan is to go to work Tuesday, chat here throughout the day, and then buy the CD on my way home.

Did they guarantee you'd have them in hand on Tuesday or did they just say they'd ship on Tuesday? I am thinking they will ship on Tuesday, and you won't have them for a couple days, which would suck!

So FLippin' Exciting!

It's almost surreal to me that we are days away from having a brand new Stevie Nicks solo album. I'll probably download on Itunes as well, since I wont be home to get my fan edition - I'll be in New York for Webster Hall And since I'm away, I'll probably buy a hard copy of the regular edition or fan edition (if I can find it) just to have the package & liner notes. Next week, we'll finally have some new music......WOW, just WOW

Now this is the real countdown!! I think there is a chance some of us might get the pre-order a day early, seems to me I got one in the past day before I was suppose to.

Don't forget the Nag ChampRa. I just reminded myself to swing by World Market within the next week...my first listen of any new Stevie or Mac album must be in the living room with the big speakers - with candles, incense, liner notes in one hand, alcoholic beverage in the other, phone ringers turned off. If I don't get either pre-order early, next Tuesday's lunch hour will be spent running home to check my mail, and if I still haven't gotten anything, immediately driving downtown to Waterloo Records to pick up copy #3.

Brucie and I would always choose a designated time to call each other... usually after each of us had an opportunity to listen to the album in its entirety at least twice. I already know I'm going to have a hard time without him - but I'll be checking in here for everyone's thoughts.

Donderdag al? Ik dacht dat het vrijdag zou komen?
Donderdag komt me veel beter uit, vrijdag ben ik de hele dag in Amsterdam en zou ik geeneens tijd hebben om te luisteren.
