I'm a long time fan, and I just got back from the Meadowlands show, and let me tell you...it was AWESOME!!! If I had the setlist in front of me, I'd probably do a play by play of it, but I'll just say that they were on fire!! Lindsey was an animal, his guitar solos made me want to literally bawl...they were just so good...and whoever says that Stevie has no energy needs to really shut up, because she was wonderful tonight...her voice was great, she danced and twirled all over the place, and she looked absolutely beautiful....I'm so sad it's over, because I really need to see this band AGAIN
! Anyone else go tonight?fmfreak |

Tell us more about the show- you're probably still in that shock and awe stage a lot of folks have mentioned. Hey, if you want, maybe you'll want to send along a review for The Penguin's permanent review section (a link is on the main board to the left).

We love reviews so welcome! I was going to see that show but I had to work and I have flat out run out of money
![]() But when you can, please tell us more about your experience. I just today was able to really listen to SYW without feeling total sadness and my last concert was the 19th, it DOES take awhile! We will be here---waiting ( hehe)! Welcome again!

Welcome!
I was at the Meadowlands show too, and you're right. It WAS amazing. Maybe to jog your memory a little and to share some things I thought were especially cool, I'll mention what I remember off-hand. (You'll have to pardon me, I'm so tired but I can't sleep because I had too much caffeine so I could stay awake to make the 4 1/2 hour drive home!) During Landslide a woman in the front row held up a "Happy Birthday Stevie" sign and Stevie began holding up her hand, opening and closing it with her fingers extended, as in 55. (I think that this was around the "I'm getting older too" part). Some of the audience sang Happy Birthday to her at the end of the song. She just beamed at the audience and said "What a voice!" when we finished singing. It was adorable. She did the higher/yelling "take me like the wind" part in Rhiannon. It was very energetic and just excellent. I was sitting Lindsey's side and he was very clearly singing along with Stevie during Stand Back. She did some excellent Stand Back twirls. She mouthed to Lindsey "If I could, baby I'd give you my world" during Go Your Own Way. Mick's vest didn't work for his drum solo! Thank GOD!! He started hitting it and when it didn't work a tech came out and tried to fix the cord, but it didn't work, so he just went back to his drumset. Stevie had to rush out to get to her mic in time to start singing again.Ooh, and funniest of all, when Lindsey introduced Peacekeeper, he said "This is the first single off of MY new album...." Stevie just stood there looking at him with her hands on her hips, looking very amusedly annoyed. That's all I can remember for now. Maybe when the caffeine buzz wears off I'll be able to think more clearly. ![]() |

don't you just love it that newbies come here expecting to be warmly welcomed, yet don't even feel open enough to identify even with their first name, sex or location?
welcome to the ledge mr./ms. anonymous. ![]()

. I've actually been a member of the Legacy message board for some time now, but decided to see what was going on here as well...I always see these really hillarious posts that I want to respond to, but I never could because I wasn't registered. Tomer, I see that you're from Israel...me too . Sorceress, I was wondering why Stevie was like "what a voice!". She was so cute during that song, even if it's...well...Landslide . I'll post an official review like you guys suggessted.fmfreak |
