Hello i am new here also. It's nice to come out of the darkness isn't it ?

I've been an active member for the past 2 years now and have loved my time on here! I feel I've made a few friends, who I still have to meet when I'm next in the US, and one who I have met and keep in touch with regularly (we're going to the Emmylou Harris gig latyer this year).

I lurked for a couple of months in early 2009 when there were rumours of the tour that became Unleashed because I knew tyhat dates/presales etc would hit here first. Then I just joined because the board looked so much fun!! Then I ended up being first to post UK dates (smug! Haha!)

As others have said, come in... out of the darkness!

I'm a lurker as well. Finally took the plunge and joined. My real name is Kendel (Elle) for short, and I live in Nashville.

My Stevie story is that my mom loved Fleetwood Mac growing up. She bought The Dance cd when it came out and played it in the car on the way home. It was actually the first cd any of us had bought at that point. Our car was new so playing a cd in it was a big deal. As it was playing, I was instantly mesmerized. At this point in my life I was solely obsessed with Reba so I kind of forgot about it, but would still come back to it from time to time because I put it on my ipod when I got one.

Towards the end of high school, I woke up and started obsessing over people like Pat Benatar, Cher, and Meat Loaf. In college, I really woke up when a lot of the songs kept coming on in itunes one day. It took me a little bit to realize that all the FM songs I loved were the ones Stevie was singing. I'm now a super fan and decided to come out of lurking with all the new album excitement!

Ok I posted for the first time yesterday in the Cheaper than Free thread so I'll sorta introduce myself in this one.

I'm from Texas, still here as of now but when I was in NYC I did attend a few NOTS shows (always had a blast)

I LOVE this forum!!!!!!!!!
Been lurking since 2005 when my love of Stevie and FM was once again at a peak (last time being The Dance era)
I first got addicted to FM when The Dance came out. I knew their songs growing up but never knew who sang them so when they reunited in 1997 it was like an awakening for me.

Everybody here has been cracking me up with their twisted sense of humor! That's why I lurked for so long. Reading the forum is far more entertaining than watching TV.
