Oh, Christopher, I was truly referring about the past, and never giving up hope on upgrades, and not making a conscious correlation with the present day. Maybe subconsciously???

Well, as for the present, I hope that Time doesn't take it's toll upon us all. And, NO, that's not an allusion to any rare versions of "Affairs Of the Heart", merely quoting Stevie lyrics.

I heard when they did the new remixes for Stand Back they watermarked the digital files the DJs got so a bunch of bootleg mixes didn't get out. I'm wondering if that's still the case or if they're floating around anywhere. I still want to do a really good mashup with the vocals of Stand Back over the music of Little Red Corvette.

Hello again, everyone!

Just added another song to my enhanced demo uploads... this one is from a radio interview where they played "Are You Mine?", the Rock A Little demo featuring Billy Burnette (not the Jim Ladd interview version from 1983). The sound quality was fairly decent to start with, but this cuts out most of the lead-in interview section that was in the circulating mp3. Unfortunately, the source was an mp3 (with a bitrate of 128 kbps). If anyone has a higher quality version (or LOSSLESS ) and can share it, that would be wonderful! Until then, I hope everyone will enjoy this if you haven't heard it already.

Hi there. Thank you for sharing this. I have it already. And it's really good. I wanted to do one where I do the whole vocal track of Stand Back over the music of Little Red Corvette rather than mixing them together.

The occasional distortion you hear is actually the speakers at the event (Chris Nicks was disappointed in the sound system and mildly vented his dissatisfaction when I talked to him after the performance). To this day it bums me out that this is an incomplete recording. When I flipped the tape, I pressed play by accident and not record! See, I told you I'm not technical!
