Annie Lennox sang 2 songs on DWTS last November. Her classic hit "Little Bird" and a new song from her x-mas cd "Universal Child". I anticipate Stevie will follow suit - a classic song and new song.

Very true - and you're right. Producers are going to go with an established hit. But we all remember Stevie performing Fall From Grace with Crow at the Blockbuster Awards in 2001, if memory serves, before the album was even released. And it was epic. I'd like to see her deliver a new rocker to get everyone pumped is all, which is exactly what happened at the above mentioned awards show. I see your point, though.

And I totally get yours. And agree with you. I'm sure Stevie is excited about her NEW songs, as we all are.

But we learned that ELLEN is the one who requested "Stand Back" in January, which surprised Stevie. And, honestly, Ellen made me cringe in 2007 when she asked Stevie, "We all wanna know: is Fleetwood Mac ever getting back together???" I swear, Stevie was cringing inside too, fighting the urge to roll her eyes. Ellen was acting like Fleetwood Mac had been "missing" since 1997 (or before!), not 2004!

And like they were broke up or something. If Ellen were a real fan, she'd know the breaks and stuff, and 2004~2007 was no huge break at all for this band.

I certainly hope Stevie performs new songs on the shows! But DWTS wouldn't shock me if "Landslide" or "Stand Back" is done, based on Heart's appearance.

Yeah, I don't think it's jumping the shark at all. Even thought I personally think the show is cheesy.

Annie, Heart, Jennifer Hudson, Sheryl Crow. Big name talent for sure.

And come on guys, it's not like she's playing for Ghadaffi.

You're the guy that likes American Pickers, right? See, I have a way harder time with them because most of those people have NO CLUE what their stuff is worth, or how much Frank & Mike will resell it for. Talk about taking advantage. I often wonder how many people are pissed when the show airs & they realize Mike got $1500 for the advertising piece they sold to him for $250.

Just sayin. I mean, I watch & love both shows.

Back on topic - I just hope they don't make her sing outside on the Today show. If they do, it had better be nice & warm out there. I think we all remember the SYW April '03 incident when they all sounded crappy?

I agree with the sentiment of folks who are all for Stevie appearing on DWTS. The more exposure Stevie gets and this new record gets, the better off she will be.

Even if this album doesn't sell millions of copies and put Stevie back on the Hot 100 or the Billboard 200 or whatever, success for this record will not be about album sales. It will be about Stevie putting out a record that she's incredibly proud of, that many of us who have followed her every step of the way since 1978 or 2008 or anywhere in between will be proud of, and Stevie gaining new fans based on this new material or based on their hearing this material and being intrigued enough to go listen to "Dreams" or "Landslide" or "Rhiannon" or "Stand Back" or "Edge of Seventeen."

I also know younger folks who are BIG into Stevie. Like one of my close friends who is young enough to be my son who loves the music like I do. I also have friends in their late teens to early 20s who are also huge fans of hers and probably quote the lesser-known songs even more than the hits.

I've heard that A LOT of the kids nowadays are dying to hear *great* new music, at least based on some of the reactions to "Secret Love." In Your Dreams will be a success if it can bring those kids the great music they crave, whether it's a hit according to Soundscan or not.

From the recent interview w/Lindsey stating he no longer has a record contract for his new solo record *and more interestingly either does Fleetwood Mac!! We should all be happy that Mama has a big record company behind her this outing, It could very possibly be her last. I find it all kinds of fascinating that Stevie still has a contract w. Warners/Reprise when FM does not

Well, bust my buttons! I watched Glee for the first time when they did Landslide, and this will be the first time I watch DWTS. Please tell me there won't be any interpretive dancing during the performance.

In 1996, despite the lack of overwhelming success for Street Angel, Stevie got herself a new multi~album solo contract with Warner Bros./Reprise. However, also in 1996, after the debacle of Time, WB informed "Fleetwood Mac" that it would have NO new records without Stevie Nicks. Period.
