Ha--very true. I just hate oversleeping like that, but worse things have definitely happened.

If I go, I'll be there in mid September or so! I'm still waiting to hear back from a few schools, but unless I get into Edinburgh, I think Durham's it without doubt.

Thank you! Yeah, that's kinda the big question... it's such an amazing opportunity that I'm really hoping it works.

Awesome. I'm all the way down in Wales, but an American friend of mine is studying abroad for a year in England too, and he's loving it

I'm hosting a party tonight and my room looks like I was raised in a barn. Hot.

Congrats.

I go to England all the time to visit my family and my boyfriend's family. You'll be in the North East though, and I usually go to the South. I would love to meet you, though.

Mostly Wiltshire, Somerset, and Kent.

My boyfriend's family live a little more north, in Kensington.

Well I don't know if I'll definitely go to Durham... I have other options but I think that Durham is going to be the best one. Either way, I want to travel around the country whenever I can during my time in the UK so I hope to be further south sometimes! We can plan it out, because I'd love to meet you as well.

So you think you'll be able to go? I didn't want to be too over-congratulatory before it was likely
