Stevie Nicks Announces Webster Hall Performance

Stevie Nicks is a total babe. Just try to refute it. Since the first time I found the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours in my parents record collection, I thought she was certified stone cold fox. Yes, she has aged a touch since the 70’s, but it is hard to deny she is a league of her own especially after all she has been through.
But let’s put aside Stevie Nick’s good looks for a second and remember that she is a hit machine. Since she joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, she has been an integral part to a ridiculous number of hit tracks both as part of Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist.
Ms. Nicks is currently crisscrossing the country on the "Heart & Soul" tour with Rod Stewart – a tour that stopped at Madison Square Garden on March 26 and April 6. Stevie will return to New York on May 4 for a performance at the much smaller Webster Hall. This uncommon, intimate concert will be a celebration for the release of Nicks’ seventh solo studio album titled In Your Dreams (Reprise Records) that will hit stores on May 3.
A show of this magnitude is sure to blow out in a matter of minutes, but mega-fans can stop by Stevie’s online store to swap an email address for a code to the pre-sale that begins Wednesday, April 13 at 10am. While you are getting your unique password, feel free to pre-order the new album. General on sale for the Webster show begins April 16 at noon.
Yes, ticket buyers should expect a number of tracks off the forthcoming In Your Dreams, but even if Stevie pulls one or two hits out of her hat it will be worth the extraordinarily high ($99) ticket price. Now I just need to work on getting back stage so I can cross her off my list. Wish me luck!

Haha yup. I was just on the phone with Ticketmaster trying to get as much information as possible. Unfortunately they couldn't tell me much but the article I just posted is saying that this show is going to sell out really quickly.... on a plus side, I can try buying tickets again on Saturday if I can't get them tomorrow I REALLY hope that's not the case, though...

I'm hoping the show is general admission. Ticketmaster didn't know and by the time I called Webster Hall, they were closed. Anyone know?

I really am hoping that that if you get a code, you are guaranteed a ticket...it did say that a limited number of codes were available for the pre-sale tomorrow...

What does everyone think?

It has to be, and Webster Hall won't know anything until show day. They don't deal with tickets if it is going through ticketmaster. I go to GA shows all the time here....even with bigger artists, it is still 'easy' to get a ticket. Just calm down and wait for the code.

"Secret Love"!!!

LOL! I hope I'm wrong, (I REALLY HOPE I'M WRONG) because I'm seriously thinking about going. I will be gravely disappointed to fly there and get the same set we've gotten this last 6 or 7 months.

If there's only one price listed, as is for this show, its usually GA.

I'm thinking about flying out too, if I get tickets. And I have to think this intimate show is a showcase featuring 5-6 tracks at a minimum from IYD I think it's the best chance at seeing the most new material on stage, and sort of a testing ground. I don't think she will cram that many new songs at the casino gigs announced so far in May, maybe 3-4 tops, We shall see. But things are getting exciting thats for sure.

I feel your pain. I have to drive over 8 hours from Nashville to Chicago and then fly from Chicago to NYC. Major traveling for someone who hates driving. Lol I need details!!

You guys that are flying in should all consider alternative airports aside from JFK and LGA. Newark just started flying Southwest for anyone who can fly them and they were advertising some decent fares from a few cities. Also SW flies to Islip, although getting to the city is much harder from Long Island without a car than from Newark. There's Philly airport too. I know a lot of friends have saved hundreds flying into Philly from various places.

Good luck everyone. Hope to see and meet some of you there!

I've been to many shows at Webster Hall and they've all been general admission. No worries. There isn't anywhere for them to put enough seats really. We're good.

Ends up, Virgin America into JFK is cheaper for me than Southwest into Newark would be.... another reason why Virgin is the best.

As you guys are talking about traveling to the show.I was thinking today which is the best way to get to the show in NYC.I could drive myself..yea where in the hill do I parksince I have a car all of my life I never had to deal with mass transit unless if its a local bus in town here..Ok should I take a train .Do they have a late train to Connecticut like 1am. or take a bus.they are probably no buses coming back to Connecticut at 1am.
