I think they are just giving us appetizers before the main course. Somebody mentioned before on another thread that Stevie said the lftm trilogy song would be out next week during her into to sorcerer. So I would say that moonlight will be the lead single.

the lyric "more important than freedom, being needed" . to me that is almost profound and what i love about Stevie. she captures such poignancy in 6 words!!! i'm impressed and relieved after the demo leak!

If you listen to the sorcerer youtube video with her and Sheryl you can here it too. I heard her say it plain as day. Hopefully she didn't club the dates as she is so notorious for doing.

Just initial reactions:

1. Dave Stewart is a terrible filmmaker
2. It doesn't matter when we get that final lingering look at Stevie... In truth, I cried. He captures her essence in that moment. Or he gave her the space to reveal it.
3. I think the song is really pretty. I agree with the Ledgie who said the line about "being needed" was a deep thing--especially from Stevie Nicks, a profound restatement--refinement--of her "freedom" philosophy.

To each their own. I find that very line to be rather dull and very antithetical. Sorry

Does anyone else wonder if there was any rekindling of a romantic involvement (whether it went beyond the recording of the album or not) between Stevie and Dave? Our girl does have a history of hooking up with her producers... all that intense creative energy and such.

I always got the feeling that because of the brevity of their earlier fling (one night according to the story I heard attributed to him) that Dave always wished it had developed more (back then). Just wondering..

the antithesis of freedom is being needed. to settle down into love is to give up your freedom to be needed by another. to me it's very touching and evocotive of true love.

I'm glad you heard this! I pointed it out that I thought she said, "There's another one coming next WEEK" but I couldn't be sure, and nobody else helped clarify this for me!

Hence why I said it is very antithetical. So to me it lacks the creative spark I usually t get from her writing. It is so blatant and less cryptic than some of her other masterpieces. Sorry we disagree. Give me cryptic over the overly simplified any day.

i got it converted to HQ vob file (like DVD file). I'll try to figure out some way to upload it. I was really hoping for (and thinking) Secret Love video (was to be released today)
But it's perfect cuz today I am doing my Stevie Nicks projecf for my History of Rock and Roll class. Now I'm deciding if I should play this new video or like originally planned, playing the "In Your Dreams" trailer.
