I was going through the MANY pages here, and DLed a demo of "Juliet". Listening to it, I thought, "This is crappy sound! I have way better quality than that, don't I?" Turns out, I do:

I think it's pretty wonderful!

BTW, just like GoldDustOrphan started a NEW Remixes thread, can't we start a new one for Requests? This one is almost 100 pages, with TONS of expired links.

Hi everyone!

Periodically, I have worked on some demos/outtakes, trying to improve the sound quality... most have been posted in this thread at various times (although I have added a couple today). In case anyone wants to check them out in one place, I thought I would share the mediafire folders here.. so feel free to download any you might have missed:

I just added a RAL demo of "Greta" to Part 1, which I found on an old CD yesterday... the sound is not terrific, but I tried to enhance the quality the best I could from the source I had.

You guys might find a special surprise in a separate folder there as well!

These are amazing. Thank you so much for doing all of this. I've never heard this version of Maybe Love. I never cared for the album version, but I always liked that one demo of it that was longer and sounded more like a Fleetwood Mac song. But this is a totally different take on the album version and I really like it. And that guitar bridge is absolutely stunning.

You're welcome! Glad you like it! I think it might be my favorite as well.. or perhaps second to one other version, but I agree that most of the outtakes I have preferred to the one on the album as well.

Also, thanks for those enhanced versions of The Wild Heart tracks - the album versions of Gate & Garden and Sable on Blond sound so sad next to the Wild Heart tracks from Enchanted. These sound great, tho!

Yeah, I was really surprised, since I don't remember where I imported it from. I'm thinking from Maureen's Mystery Box, when we had some of those cassettes enhanced. I had about 5 of the same "Juliet", different speeds and varying sound quality, but truly all the same singular version, not 5 different demos. This was the best one by far, so I deleted the others (cleaning up my Stevie Files!).

I've said it dozens of times: NEVER give up on your Stevie Outtakes & Demos! Your favourite one might be found upgraded just around the corner! And it's happened for me several times, and I love to share that positive experience!
