Hi all.I found this on youtube last night. A video of Stevie recording After the glitter fades.I dont remember if theres others were video taped.

OMG Mike. I used to have that on 2 different video compilations back in the day! (After the Glitter Fades German video) that was so awesome...if short. someone stole BOTH tapes from me!! I've always wondered though... do you happen to know if there's a video for the entire song..or just the really edited down version??

I only have the edited version of the German video for "After The Glitter Fades". I still have it on VHS. I guess I should get it transfered, but I keep hoping someone else will do it.

Again, things like that, the "Edge Of Seventeen" videos, the Japanese "Sometimes It's A Bitch", etc., should have been on Crystal Visions, along with the Civil War "Stand Back".

RIGHT??? i SO agree... Rooms had different editing too..i remember seeing that on the stolen tapes!! and of course Talk to Me...uh...sigh!!

Yes your right.I must be slow upstairs.I also love the Civil War "Stand Back" version on the DVD.I love to see A clean version of the alternate EO17 also the dressing room Wildheart get a DVD treatment.

I hope Stevie releases more behind the scenes footage of her first couple of albums. I know she taped them because she said in an interview "We video taped everything because you couldn't possibly explain it!"

I wonder if included the orgies too........but seriously ( I was serious).........remember back in the day when compilation tapes were a big deal to get in the mail. You'd sent your lists out and get lists back from other traders. Looking for shows or better quality clips than what you already had. Oh man, all those Bella Donna and Wild Heart clips off of MTV and Entertainment Tonight, the Stand Back off of Solid Gold, the Rosebud Doc. All the stuff you were now trying to get hold of because you didn't have a VCR at the time they first aired. Ah, it was sooooo much fun to be a collector back then.

I'm still dying to see this video! If you are ever in Austin, I have a VHS to DVD recorder so I could transfer it for you for free!

one of my fav parts of the cv bella donna stuff was when she was dancing around to edge of 17 in the studio
