Default Firefox 4.0

Anyone upgraded to this PIECE OF SH*T?

Don't do it! It's AWFUL. Now, I know I'm not the most tech savvy guy here, but I'm not that bad, either. Sooo, I let it upgrade last night, on my laptop. I just now figure out how to get rid of it, and get my old version(3.6.16) back. 4.0=
Goes into fullscreen mode, where you can't see your tabs, without raking the top of the screen, where they'll appear for 1 fukcing second.
I never DID find how to access:
any bookmarks,
any "File,Edit,View,History,Bookmarks,Tools,Help" options,
any way to refresh pages....

It's AWFUL. Don't do it!!!
Thank god I finally got my old version reinstalled!

Thanks, I'm still using 3 even though I HATE Firefox. But it's still better than Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, yadda yadda

I am an Internet Explorer loyalist. I think I'm the only guy in the world who loves it and never seems to have problems with it.

Yeah, I hate IE, too.

I just wanted to warn any Ledgies about upgrading, since my first prompt to do so, was last night.

I felt like my hands were tied behind my back, and I was being pelted with 13yo Stevie fans.

Stick with 3.?. It's waaaay better!

Urgh, I accidentally upgraded to 4 a while ago, it was awful, so I switched back to whichever version I was using before (3. I think.) I totally agree with you, it's vile.

I find Firefox miles better than IE, I don't know why, but after using Firefox for about 3 years, I just can't use IE at all now

I'm glad to read that it's not just me! I sometimes fear tech change!

Yeah, I grew up on Netscape, and Mozilla became it's cousin, when Netscape(or Nutscrape, as we used to call it ) became obsolete.

I've always hated IE, really even without reason. When I got my first computer, my tech friend said, "use Netscape. IE sucks", so I've always been prejudiced against IE.

I have Firefox 3.6 .Its ok .but since I download 100's of pdf files for my electronics project daily .,Firefox does not complete downloading them.they are incomplete sometimes. IE is buggy at times.I first started with Netscape back in the 90's.I did use IE most of the time then.
