Stevie themed Tattoo *I NEED IDEAS!*

Okay, if there's ever a place for a topic on a stevie themed tattoo... this is the place lol

first of all, I just want to introduce myself to you guys
I'm Andy :-) been a Stevie Nicks fanatic for literally just a year! I know, I know don't stone me to death lol, I know i'm a little late, but blame it on Madonna and Kylie... they kept me distracted
So yes, I knew Fleetwood Mac (everyone knows FM!) but was never really into them much, loved 'Dreams' like everyone else, and 'The Chain', 'Everywhere','Little Lies' etc and as for Stevie I knew she was a pretty big cheese but I only knew her as 'The Mystical One'
So one day i bought myself the 2 disc greatest hits and I loved every song, but it was Stevie's that were really enticing me, i'd play the next track and as soon as i heard her inconic voice, I was like "It's Stevie again! Better pay more attention!!" lol I just fell in love with her, especially her awesome track 'Sisters of the Moon' I loved it so much i jumped on youtube to find her perform it live and I was gobsmacked! (it was the 'speaking in tongues' performance from the Mirage Tour 82) so that was it for me... went and bought every Mac album, every Stevie album, found the BuckinghamNicks LP, and one of my friends got me the 'Enchanted' collection which i was thrilled with... it was only then did the world of Stevie's demos make itself clear to me. I thought I had heard every Stevie song but I was wrong, so much of her best work is hiding away, it's a shame, beautiful songs like 'Forest of the Black Roses' (which from my username you can tell I obsess over ),'3 Birds of Rhiannon', 'Mistaken Love', 'Watch Devil', 'Sanctuary' - just so powerful, and it's songs like these that are missing from the music charts right now (detesting Lady Gaga! If people want originality they should go and seek out Kate Bush & Grace Jones - don't get more original than those 2!!)
Anyway I decided to join you happy bunch of enthusiasts (lol) because i'm sorta alone here in my adoration of Stevie... I'm 21 and no one I know (with exception of my mother) likes Stevie or FM for that matter, especially people my age - i'm kinda the odd one out these days lol, same with Whitney Houston and Madonna- no one likes them either... one's a crackhead, the other's a fossil as far as my friend's are concerned, but to me they form part of THE HOLY TRINITY - the third part being George Michael... an absolute poet, he matches Stevie in that aspect

Anyway I digress major style haha, so here I am and hope you don't all tear into me when I have no idea what you're on about (I mean you guys really know your stuff!!! i'm such a novice compared )

Anyway, anyway, anyway that was a long introduction lol!

so.............

I am planning to get a new tattoo and of course I want it to have Stevie as a theme, i'm thinking pretty big, perhaps covering both my arms and meeting on my chest. What I'm really looking for is lyrics from her songs, any songs, just lines that are memorable and thought provoking, lyrics that would be great for tattoos... so if anyone knows Stevie lyrics it's you guys, right? let's hope so anyway lol
and for each of the lyrics I want drawings to accompany the words, for instance...

I was thinking of having these lyrics from Storms, "But never have I been a calm blue sea... I have always been a storm", going down and wrapping around my arm, with a galleon ship floating in the sea at the top, and the ship's wreckage after a sea storm at the bottom, with a mermaid weeping.

Like Stevie I love the sea, and what I was thinking for my chest would be a crest with the words Stevie Nicks scrolled underneath... for example this crest.....

Alter the face to resemble Stevie more and perhaps add a quill, of course these are all just ideas for now, and I would love you all to participate in this so i'll accept any suggestions and ideas you may have, or general tattoo ideas and if you want to share your fav lyrics you'd think would be good plastered to my body i would be very much obliged

I've been planning to get "Sister Of The Moon" tattooed around my collarbone for a long time, and I'm yet to gather the nerve to do it. But I will do some day. Considering you have outie genitalia instead of innie, I doubt this would be appropriate for you lol.

I have three Stevie tattoos planned for myself, but I have yet to get them. And I don't want to give away the specifics of them because I want mine to be unique. I think your storm tattoo sounds amazing! The crest idea is awesome too! I like having "Stevie Nicks" scrolled underneath, but I think a lyric like "Well there is magic all around you..." would work amazingly well too. As for other lyrics and tattoo ideas, here are some good ones:

-Blame it on my wild heart. (You could some awesome illustration with a heart)
-When this battle is over, I feel I will survive.
-Something of a dreamer
-Lightning strikes, maybe once... maybe twice
-Straight back to the sea
-Rock a little
-Destiny rules
-You cannot know a dream until you've known the nightmare.

Looooove the last one! just perfect and yeah "Well there is magic all around you..." is worth considering, works well with the mermaids and cherubim faces surrounding her :-) thanks

she once said regarding the back cover of the bella donna album..the tamborine she is looking thru represents a porthole..she is looking thru in an optomistic fashion..."come in out of the darkness..." a tamborine w/dove flying thru it would b an awesome tattoo...w/"come in out of the darkness" written below it..i ahve thought of it many times but im a 48 yr old guy so..................a lil too late for me personally...dont kno if ur male/female or how old u r..but i would support it if someone really wanted it... follow?? good luck

Isn't 48 just a number? You should get it done! It's never too late, you're only in your prime , a man looks his best when he reaches his 40s IMO
Anyway that is a neat idea, I was going to have a tambourine featured somewhere (how can I not!). I'm really liking that Bella Donna lyric too

and by the way i'm a guy, I sure as hell hope i look like a guy in my avator lol!

I already have one purely Stevie tattoo ("dreams unwind, love's a state of mind" with 3 black birds) and one partially inspired Stevie tattoo (a crescent moon in the shape of her necklaces-- it symbolizes something else too but I specifically used her design and it's gold). Yet I want another one.... I have a few ideas.

haahahaaaa.....first off i never even looked at ur avitar...u c mine?? i look nuthin like mine...ur right 48 just a #...thing is..the places where i wanted to put it...mid upper back between shoulder blades or shoulders already have ink there...i remember back in 81 wanting to get that tattoo...never did...please lemme kno wat u decide..and ur right...i take waaaaay better care of myself now so i do look better now than 20 yrs ago...least thats wat i tell myself...haaa..good luck GUY/MAN..and keep me posted..post a pic if/wen u get it..b well...."fight for the northern star..." always loved that line too..that is actually probably her best song (in my opinion) lyrically...if u "read between the lines" it says a whole lot
