I must admit, I prefer Imperial Hotel as my #1 Rock A Little track.

Agreed! If i'm honest Rock A Little is not an album i play alot, out of her work it has dated the most, but If I Were You is a definite gem, just brilliant! Worth 10 Talk To Me's lol

You know, even though people piss and moan around here about Stevie doing covers and co-writes and what not. Every once in a while I'll pull out "Talk To Me" , as I did this weekend - blaring in on the highway driving along. And I'm always struck at how truly brilliant and stunning her vocal is on this track.

Speaking of brilliant vocals, Imperial Hotel is crazy in all the right places. Great song. And though some dismiss the "dated" production of RAL, it's her most consistent collection of pop/rock songs that could have truly been great singles.
