Stevie sounds amazing on both songs. I hope Love Is stays in the set list for this summer, since it's been one of my faves FOREVER!!

Rod however sounds like he's struggling to get through a kareokee performance of the song.... How the flip do you spell that word anyway- it's not coming to me at 7 in the morning!!

Found footage of Young Turks, which was performed before L&L, and while I was watching it I thought, wow, Stevie doesn't seem that happy, Rod made several attempts to sing to her, or to make eye contact, and she just avoided him. Well if you watch the video, or if you just want to see how pissed she is go to 4:36. She won't even LOOK at Rod. He talks about how they only rehearsed that afternoon. No wonder he looked like he did in the L&L video. Oh well. Don't think that song will be in the set much longer.

Wow this version of 'Love Is' is freaking fantastic!! I hope she keeps it in her set this summer and that she comes to Pittsburgh. I need to hear this song sung live in front of me. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!

just a note what is up with the ending? it sounds all messed up!!

I don't blame her for being annoyed with him. He made no bones about the fact that he's been wanting to do "Leather and Lace" with her, a song that she seems to really only prefer doing with Don Henley. And to top it off, he chooses not to rehearse, thus coming off as a terribly half-assed performance.

Agreed.Well, Stevie sounded great, and the crowd seemed to dig it, but yes, totally out of her comfort zone to just wing a song as classic as that.

Hardly would call his performance half ass. It's not like you can do much with the song besides sing it faithfully and well, which he did, for the most part.

Stevie looks like she's about to fall asleep at the mic during Leather & Lace, but she sounds great! I didn't think it'd been *that* long since she'd done this song. Doesn't she drag it out once every couple of years when she can get Don Henley to show up to sing it with her?

She & Rod sound great together on it...but Rod looks nervous as hell, and Stevie looks like she's ready for a nap.

This isn't the first time I've thought Stevie looked sleepy (or inebriated) on stage. Is it the eye make-up?

Its called "being 62 and having sagging brow ridge skin". You try having your eyelids seperated from your brow line when you are 62! Hell, I am 31 and I have problems keeping my brow line off my eyelids!

She did go up on the chorus in Leather and Lace. She sang it lower with Don in 05. She sounds incredible.

Whoa! Excellent singing from Stevie in these 2 clips. This new "Love is" clip knocked me out of my chair this morning. It was pretty close to perfect. I just love when Stevie uses her softer voice, and controls her belting. I'm impressed.
