That's What I am hoping for. I like her voice at the end and during the chorus. But during the verses It is awful awful awful. Feeeeeriiiiiirst. And iiiiiiiiieeeeyes. The notes there don't belong with the rest of the song. But I love love love this song especially the ending it gets me everytime.

You know the Hole that was released this year. I thought the best song off the album was the bonus track: Tell Me a Happy Ending Story. They aren't giving out duds anymore.

Based on the dreamy/fairytale theme of this album, I was really hoping for "Have No Heart" as a bonus. I think it'd fit in perfect beside Annabel Lee. But I'll take "My Heart" ... love it too, just not as much as the other. But, I'm not complaining. Any bonus tracks are better than none.

The Bonus Track from Nobody's Daughter. Happy Ending Story. It was a great album, but that is the song I listen to all the time.

Well if "Shadow Of My Shadow" is an additional bonus track, that would make a total of 15 tracks which corresponds with earlier information regarding the number of songs recorded for this album. Depending on who you listen to, there could also be a 16th track somewhere.
PS I would be surprised if "No Heart" had not been re-recorded and imagine it has to be the song Stevie mentioned having previously wrote with Mike Campbell. I understand the point made about "Mirror Mirror" being used back in 1994 but that was a b-side, not a bonus album track. For the record, I consider "My Heart" to be one of the worst things she's done so I would hope that a new version would be an improvement - I'm just glad it wasn't considered decent enough to make the final cut, which is encouraging in regard to the album.

Wow this is incredible news. My Heart and another new song to look forward to, bringing the grand total to 15 songs for In Your Dreams. And we now have confirmation that at least one of the songs is more deserving than Cheaper than Free.

Well I think that's a matter of opinion, but I do agree with you.

Supposedly, the version of Cheaper Than Free in IYD is supposed to be either a different mix or it was recorded with more of a "rock" vibe. I'm hoping that's true, but either way, the song is special to Stevie, so that's what matters to me.

A snippet of the IYD version has been posted on here,It is not more rock at all but straight up old school country and western and an improvement IMHO.

Well... If its me thats driving you to this madness theres's just one thing that IIIID like to say... OK Cheaper than Free can stay if it means No one gets a time machine and has Stevie axe Nothing Ever Changes. And yea I like Violet and Blue a lot. if it was a top 20 list VAB would've mostly likely been on the second half. But it still doesnt fit the dark moody tone of the last 4 songs on the wild heart. NEC is dark rcoking, while Violet and blue is upbeat and happy sounding.

I don't get upbeat and happy at all from "Violet and Blue' lyrically no way..but again it's all a matter of opinion I guess.
