And of Stevie's camp, who but Stevie would come up with this stuff? I think it's entirely possible that someone else is typing it for her, but only Stevie would think an insane alter ego/invisible friend would be a fun way to promote her cd.

I think Stevie (or her people) are just having fun with twitter and us fans... At first i was like, ok they seem kinda weird, but at the same time i'm like, Stevie is just getting us hyped up for whats to come....

I agree with this. Whoever is running it obviously doesn't understand the way that twitter can work to promote beyond one's typical fanbase. They think it's a site that caters to and plays with that base. The missed opportunity breaks my heart, but I appreciate that Stevie (or someone close to her) does want to engage and have fun with us.

So you all might hate me for this, but I tweeted Dave asking him to step in and make sure Stevie's people do a better job with her twitter, and he retweeted i on his page. Some of us aren't the only ones concerned with the missed opportunities here....I'm curious to see if he IS able to change anything.
