For some reason, I think there might be three. The Billy Burnette one, the solo one with Jimmy saying 'uh-uh-uh' in the beginning, and then maybe another one without Jimmy speaking - but that might just be an edit of the same track.

They are the same track, at different speeds. Should both be listed?

I don't think. If there is no variation but speed.

At The Fair (3:04) just has one demo in circulation. Correct?

I'm sure of it. It can be hard to tell sometimes with all the cassette copies that circulated for two decades.

Only one At The Fair.

Only master reel cuts - wait, I might be confusing it with Juliet.

There was a version that was listed as an outtake and circulated, but was really just a crappy recording of the album version slowed down and sped up and passed off as an alternate.

I'm trying, with the help of you, to have somewhat of a "complete" list of Stevie songs in various forms for us to have online. There were a few great sites back in the day and I want to upgrade the list for us to have as a resource for our Stevie collection. What I would like to do is go by song title...beginning with A and getting each on sorted out before we move on.

Good idea/bad idea?

So is this just going to be a list, or will mp3's also be linked with each version?

Just a list, for now....

.....then we can link them.

The Stevie demo world seems like a mess right now. I just want to make it nice and tidy.

Agreed! About two months ago I decided I wanted to make a digital vault of Stevie demos and live performances, so i snagged up theothersideofthemirror.com but have yet to even begin!

I'm not sure what you guys are doing, but I used to have my own Stevie site back in the day called Bella Diva. It's still out there in cyberspace, but I closed the front access page YEARS ago cuz I no longer had time to keep up with it. I can post links to the individual frames so you can access demo lyrics if that's what you're needing. It was Sara Maitland aka SaraRhiannon.com who helped me do all the lyric pages on my page to begin with, so most all of what you see in the demo section is the same thing you used to see on her page before it was closed down. I must warn you though... it's SERIOUSLY out of date...

http://rockgypsy.tripod.com

http://rockgypsy.tripod.com/frames.html

http://rockgypsy.tripod.com/noframes.html

You should be able to access all the areas of the site from one of those links. Enjoy!

NOTE: When you're on the demo pages, you can't click the song names to see the lyrics because the old html links are broken & need re-written, so just scroll down the page to find the song you're looking for...

Thanks for doing this. I have the discs but not the archives. Also if memory serves The Penguin discographies may be of some help to you here.

Nope. The third is from a Jim Ladd interview at 4 in the morning and I'll post in when I can.
