Where did you hear she's dating John Irving? According to his wiki he's been married since 1987, didn't mention anything about divorce.

I think Stevie may be more than happy to be alone with her journals, pillows, blankets, candles and her dog. She has had more than her fair share of lovers and bad relationships. A women of her age and experience, just might prefer to be alone (Greta). I mean she's a beautiful lady, if she wanted a relationship, she'd have one. Maybe she does have a friend or two with benefits, she gets it when she wants it.

Aside from the occasional romp with Lindsey ( which I think is more off than on these days) she has alluded to being okay with being alone. I recall a quote from the TISl era about a high priestess living in a fabulous castle.

I want Stevie to find someone to be in a serious relationship. It seems like she has been searching for this her whole life if you "read between the lines". She's beautiful, famous and rich, finding a partner is probably difficult. If she finds it,I hope she keeps it secret(although I'm dying to know)!

Also Paul Fiskin, who helped get Modern Records and Bella Donna off the ground; a fling with Walter Egan; Curry Grant (a fling...he dated Christine longer I believe); and there's always been a rumour about Tom Petty but neither Stevie nor Tom has admitted it publicly. And I read an interview of Ray Thomas from the Moody Blues who said he'd had a relationship with her.

^I don't think she ever had a relationship with Walter Egan. I think he had the hots for her but she said they were nothing more than friends.

My boss played golf with Norm Van Lier (great basketball player with the Chicago Bulls in the 70's) a few years ago and Norm told my boss that he slept with Stevie a few times in the 70's. I don't think he said they were in a relationship, just had sex a few times.

My boss, knowing I was (am) a huge Stevie fan, came into my office the next day to tell me about it. I don't know if I believe it because it just doesn't seem like Stevie had any connections to professional athletes and wouldn't be running in the same circles. But, she's the only one who knows who she slept with (if she can remember).

i know a girl that INSISTED that stevie is bi. she allegedly knows ppl that knows stevie.......yada, yada, yada. i could care less if she is. i figure, as long as she's "getting it", i dont care how she got off. i think that ppl say she's a lesbian, or bi, because she's a girl's girl. she seems to cherish her relationships w/ her girlfriends and has kept the same circle of girlfriends for YEARS.

**they say the same about Oprah and Gayle. blah!

was it ever confirmed that her and waddy were together. smmfh! God i hope not.

here's a question...........has any of her love songs ever referenced a woman that she could be romantically involved in? i can't think of anything.
