Atlanta concert: 3/24/11 - Page 5

That review sucked! The arena was definitely more than half full when she came out...I would say it was near capacity. And, I honestly couldn't tell you if the duets were perfect ... That wasn't too important to me. Just the interaction and seeing stevie have fun was worth it. When good vids pop up and we can scrutinize it to death the opinions may change, but in the moment it was fun and entertaining and all the rod fans around me seemed to really enjoy her presence during his show too....

His stage blew Stevie's away, I think he changed more than she did and his background players were great! I loved everything Stevie did and Love Is was a HUGE highlight. Just her, the piano and Sharon and Lori. GDW was great as usual, Stand Back and Edge were spot on. What's funny after all these years Waddy still has to count her in on Edge. But anyways its worth it and Stevie did great as usual but she could pick up a think or 2 from Rod.
But when she danced with his background singers it was AMAZING!!!! She had all their moves down. I'm going to post but it will probably be tomorrow since I've had a few libations.
Rock On!!!!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed the show! Looking forward to your vids!

Those pics were fabulous! I especially love the last one with the purple background.

The Atlanta critics have always had a dislike for Stevie/ FWM, to the point of outright lying about the concert. But to be honest, unless it's rap or the instant hot new thing, the Atlanta critics have always been completely dismissive.

Thanks ..and welcome to the Ledge..I can't believe how youthful and radiant Stevie appears these days and she really looks like she has had no work done .She still looks totally like herself.

Did she sing "Salvation" this time on "Secret Love"?

I'm working on uploading my videos to youtube right now. I've got FFG up but I'll get them posted hopefully before the next show

This photo is so cheeky! I love it!

And, why doesn't she always wear her hair like this? It softens her when she wears it wavy/curly and she looks amazing!
