I'm 49 also, and God, I hope I don't sound like a stalker. LOL. I'm so excited about this. The only thing was submitting 3 photos. I only have one of my on the computer right now, so I submitted it and two of Stevie.

So I'm wondering if I should pretend like my dad is entering me because the age limit is APPARENTLY 21... but it lets you submit if you're younger...

Yeah really.... you mean like writing your Father's name down in the First Name & Last Name spaces & putting his age? I don't want to be disqualified because I filled something out wrong. Arghh

Just submitted my "essay". O M G that was like hell, trying to keep it under 2000 characters! The Ledge seems kinda quiet with a lot of lurking. Is everyone off to the races, submitting their stories to Oprah? I really hope so. So that Oprah & her producers realize what a thing of beauty Stevie Nicks is! She is Rhiannon - a bright light, from a bright world - brought down to bring us hope and joy in our most difficult hours. Sorry, all this writing and contemplation of all thing Stevie to me, really almost burst my little ole chiffonhead .

I think you should throw your hat in the ring... you'd be a wonderful face for Stevie fans everywhere. You're gorgeous, well spoken, intelligent, balanced, and SANE! I just fear what kinda weirdo the Oprah show might pick, and make the lot of us look like nutbags

This whole thing makes me wonder if Oprah is doing some sort of "meet your idols" kinda show, where Stevie would just be one of several stars in the episode. We all know how Oprah loves to dedicate shows to making people's dreams come true.

You just built a case as to why YOU should throw your name in the hat esp. the weirdo/nutbag part.

I thought about it but I've decided not to submit anything (even though I think I have a pretty compelling story) and give other people the chance to have some face time with Stevie. Plus, I wouldn't want to air my dirty laundry on national T.V. .

I too submitted my view, at least we know they are getting some hits to there request.

Seriously, they have a age limit? That seems unfair? I'm sure there are legal reasons but seriously? Its like....here's my parents permission slip, can I play now!

I worked for Gap for 5 and a half years between 2001-2006 and I heard about this happening!

This worries me too. We've all shuddered at some of the downright crazy people we've seen! We're not all like that! I say go for it.

It's not even an 18 age limit.... it's 21 which makes zero sense.

Not to be pompous or anything, but I think I have a really good story, and it would be hard to find better. I AM PRAYING OVER HERE, PEOPLE

I suspect that the winner will be someone who has the most stuff- a Stevie shrine full of tchotchkes. Oprah will definitely dispatch a camera crew to the individual's home. I mean, anyone can come on and say, "I am the biggest Stevie fan because _____." But few people have the actual tangible evidence to back it up.

I definitely would not want to appear on the show, but I would love to be in the studio audience. Who knows what they could be putting in those goodie bags?

Same here... I have no interest in meeting Stevie or being on tv, but it would be fun to be in the audience for sure. How can we crash that joint?!
