Last time I took the bus, I left AC a little after midnight and got back to the Port Authority by 2:15AM. And there were maybe five other people on the bus- definitely plenty of elbow room.

If you reserve early enough via megabus.com, the round trip is like $1. It's crazy.
Maybe we should go together lol. Cuz i get confused. When I took the bus (from port authority) from a Lindsey show to and from AC. I agree. Trip was better. BUT on the way back... zomg... I had a rickshaw (spelling) running his ass off and trying to talk to me about "Go Your Own Way" to make the next bus in time, which I did by seconds.

But you're right. I shouldn't count out the busses.

I guess I am being dramatical.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I'm GUTTED that I can't make NOTS this year. As many of you know I had planned on it, wason the mailing list and everything, but 3 months ago my boiler blew up and I've paid £1600 to replace it! That was my NOTS money! No way I could afford the flights etc too. I'm quite upset about it because I had planned on it since November. Damn!

I have £ again now though sop at least if/when summer dates are announced I can make one of them in the US if not Europe/UK. Can someone enlighten me though, I realllly don't understand why her tour dates go on sale so close to the actual event. I don't know any other big artist who does this. For a lot of people a gig involves a large ticket price, travel and accommodation and bearing in mind that this is almost the end of March this gives people only a month to get the money together. Surely if they'd gone on sale earlier or the date was later it would be easier for people?

At this point we're planning on driving down, but you're welcome to come if there's room. Not sure what the situation will be yet. Chances are we will have to go down earlier in the day to stalk the box office.

I don't care about NoTS but I do care about the general timing (what? a week after the Rod-Stevie thing? Some of us don't want to burn a hole in our credit cards) and the fact that they are (once again) announcing things piece-meal. Not to mention dumping another vacation request on the boss just a week after I asked him for the Heart and Soul thing.

I don't want to buy a ticket (one of the two most expensive nights to stay in AC, too) only to find out they are in NYC the day before or after.

Frustrating. But, hey, that's par for the course. I am thrilled about Stevie, the new tour, new music, etc but I'm really beginning to regret spending a penny on the Stevie-Rod concert.

Aside from that, the ACES train was fabulous but it's not running again until the end of May (winter hiatus). Academy is a nice, reliable service (but, be careful and line up early to get on the buses going back to NY. They fill up quickly).
