I don't really see how it is ironic.

"Seeds we sow" is quite a common term used by people, Lindsey has used it on a number of occasions and I suppose it fits in with his situation.

You know what, it's not going to happen for me now so I am relying on you to get out there and see him and report back to me every little detail and let me have every photo you take.

We were very seriously going to get over to America to see him but we are now planning a huge trip in 2012 and, as we also have quite a big holiday booked for this year, it's really out of the question to go see Lindsey in the USA.

I just wish he'd come here, but otherwise I'll just have to hope he does plenty more albums/tours in the years to come.

Anyone going to see Stevie in London's Hyde Park this summer?

Just googled. No new information. However, I did look up the site that is running Lindsey's new website:

http://groundctrl.com/
Quote:
WE ARE MUSIC ENTHUSIASTS
ERASING THE GAP BETWEEN ARTISTS & FANS.

WE ARE MUSIC

Hanging around our office, you would be just as likely to see synchronized air drumming of Refused’s “Shape of Punk to Come”, possibly pass by a punk kid walking the halls singing Blondie’s “Hangin’ On The Telephone”, or have to step over an upright bass on its way to an after work bluegrass gig, as you would be to hear the furious clickity-clack of keyboards hammering out code.

We aren’t simply a company making music websites, we are lifelong lovers of music. We spent junior high playing guitar with visions of rock stardom in our heads. We have spent nights outside of record stores and concert halls to get the best possible tickets. We were the teenager waiting after the show on the slight chance of meeting our hero. We spend our time playing shows, going to shows, debating the merits of this band or that, reminiscing about albums, songs, and concerts that changed our lives. Even though we are now in our 30s, we still get excited to discover a great new album. It’s who we are 24/7.

We are just as passionate about technology. We use technology to help others fall in love and stay in love with their favorite artists. We understand that with technology no one needs to come between the artist and their fans, not even us. We set out to do things differently, by making the artist and fan top priority in everything we do.
i would beg to differ

WE ARE MUSIC. WE ARE TECHNOLOGY.

COMPANY INFO

We are an independent company with a boutique approach to an industry often met with a one-sided and homogenized set of solutions. Our goal is simple: arm the artist with control via an elevated connection with their fan. What are we talking about here? Although it does not seem like rocket science, it still is not the norm. We believe in listening to what the fans want, we believe in ideas that are suited to a specific artist and their specific fan. We do not believe in monopolies that take advantage of the artist or their fans. We believe these relationships need to be honored, not milked.

We believe in partners, not clients, and we cannot do it alone. Multiple Grammies and platinum records are not necessarily the ingredients for a well cultivated community, and that is not necessarily the partner we are after. We are looking for the right partners, the ones that share our values, understand their involvement is necessary, and most importantly are open to new ways of reaching their fans.

We do this because we love it. We do it because there is a monumental change occurring to an industry that desperately needs it. We welcome the change, we believe in it, and we are thankful to be a part of it.

so far, they're behind The Ledge after I posted that interview which should have been put up on their page as soon as it was posted by the magazine.

I don't mean to be tough on them. They probably don't have permission from Lindsey/Lindsey's people to post more information.

I'll email them [email protected] the interview and see if that gets things started.

^The domain belongs to Azoff Management. I'm sure that's where their direction comes from...

Can't remember now what the advert said - I think it's various artists in London's Hyde Park headlined by Rod Stewart. That's probably why Stevie is guesting, because of the USA gigs she's doing with him. Rod is doing various stadiums in England so perhaps Stevie might guest on some of those as well but nothings been advertised at the moment apart from the Hyde Park gig.

Am I the only one who can see her guesting for one song? And the big (bold letters, underlined, point some fingers at it) surprise will be.....She's singing Landslide

I'm going to London in the summer but, ugh, Rod Stewart. I don't love Stevie enough to subject myself to that crap.

There is so little information about Lindsey's album that this thread has become another place to discuss Stevie's touring.
