I recently stumbled upon a LOT of high quality master reels and I want to share them with you guys. It's pretty much a gold mine and I'm so excited about it I'll be posting them in small sections so it may take few weeks to get all of them up.

Thanks for posting. I have collected so much stuff over twenty-something years, and I have been overwhelmed and disorganized as how to organize everything -- especially how to keep track of all the numerous takes of songs.

It's great that these lists name sessions dates. I think I'll just burn each CD as is, then at least I can isolate and identify different song takes, and choose the best takes to make distilled down complilation CDs.

Of course, I suspect some dates may not be accurate. For example, the Leather and Lace session are dated 1976. It may be possible, but did Stevie and Don actually start collaborating that early? Did they even know each other then?

Pretty sure they knew each other-- wasn't Don sending Stevie flowers and crap during the recording of Rumours? Excellent question, though-- I'll ask my source who put all this together.

Don & Stevie dated in 1976. During their dating, Don worked with Stevie on writing "Leather & Lace." As he listened to the various verses still being composed, he gave her feedback, according to Stevie in her 1980 radio interview for NBC Source.

Don may be the reason that the song is so conventionally & carefully structured in the strophic manner -- something completely atypical for Stevie Nicks.

Unfortunately, I have a set of "I Can't Wait" instrumentals and a live "Talk To Me" but that's it in this compilation

The Master Reels have a fantastic 6:11~minute outtake of "The Nightmare", an outtake of "Some Become Strangers" (with extra lyrics), plus single mixes of "I Can't Wait".

I'm sure you'll get to those.
