Default "Shadow of my Shadow"

Does anyone know of this song? Some odds and ends have popped up, like the song My Heart and New Orleans. I have never heard of this song. Has anyone?

Maybe just a working title for Straight Back?

Never heard of it unless it was something that was subsumed into "Straight Back"

Just some stuff has been listed of things that have been recorded. New Orleans is definitely a title of a song. But there are some miscellanous crap on some listing like My Heart and something called Shadow of My Shadow trying to figure out.

There is a good chance that My Heart was again recorded for this album too. She must like that song.

Straight Back was a Fleetwood Song. Not a Stevie Nicks song, so doesn't fit.

Has anyone out there ever heard of a Stevie Nicks solo song called Shadow of My Shadow? Inquiring minds want to know. And nix Straight Back.

True but it is a Stevie Nicks penned Fleetwood Mac song with the lyrics "shadow of my shadow" in it so that is where we made the connection.

oh I'm sorry, I get you, I just wondered if there was a specific demo for this. It's listed as being recorded on some obscure list with all the In Your Dreams Songs and My Heart

Huh? Could you be more ambiguous? Seriously, what obscure list are you referring to?

Mediabase radio listing had all of Stevie's songs listed alphabetically A to Z, just her recorded songs... All the new In Your Dreams songs were listed that were published by that New Zealand website... There are three listed with Mediabase that don't appear on the tracklist. One called "New Orleans" and another called "Shadow of My Shadow" plus "My Heart" is listed...

Do you have a link for this place? I tried Googling and don't really know where to go. I'd love to see what they have listed for Stevie.

You said "all of the songs Stevie's recorded" ~ did you mean "released"? "My Heart" was recorded ~ in 2000 for Trouble In Shangri~la. Is "Julia" on the list? It's been fully recorded several times, as has "If You Were My Love",
I Call You Missing" and "Dial The Number".

NO I do not have a list. A friend of mine emailed me with the information and last night we were trying to find out where this song came from. He has a website and trying to confirm things and such. The song is not listed under Fleetwood Mac. It's listed under Stevie Nicks. My Heart was recorded for trouble in shangri la, however it probably should not be on the list unless it was just rerecorded. Nothing could be confirmed last night. This song is still an enigma. Maybe the list is wrong and led us on a wild goose chase. However, you know how Stevie is. She uses lyrics over and over again and I would not be suprised if Shadow of my Shadow is a new song. My Heart is a good song too and it is from the Annabelle Lee era. I think she wants to find a way to get it out there.
