I can believe that the bubble could have been a trick of the light, but to say that her face wasn't touched up? Come on now. We know what the woman looks like.

That is exactly the way I fealt last night. When I saw the cover last night, I thought it was great and still do. However, then the complainers got a hold of it and ruined the moment. Doesn't matter what cover Stevie is on, she is going to be airbrushed and her face is at an angle. Of course, it's going to look asymetrical. The photo is supposed to be eerie. She's not even looking at the camera or smiling and she is in a bubble. It's an excellent concept cover. Not your standard, boring face shot. Somehow, some people ignore the brilliance of it all, just to find reason to complain. And I cannot believe people are twittering Dave and telling him that Stevie looks airbrushed. He's probably banging his head through a wall.

after reading all the positive remarks, I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who doesn't like the cover. The concept is awesome but I think Stevie looks a lot heavier than she is, no thanks to that awful dress. Plus what's up with her face? It looks oddly distorted. Big let down...

the dress makes her look heavy thru the hips~ i can't wear stuff like that either, makes me look huge & i'm a size 7

I don't mind that Stevie's been photoshopped to an inch of her life, it's the norm, I mean, look at the soundstage DCD cover;

LOOK MA, NO LEGS

I actually love the horse, I love the contrast between the black of Stevie, and the white of the horse.

I just can't get over the bloody bubble

I hate it with a passion. It just looks so cheap! I love everything else though.

or maybe it's just an honest assessment of how people feel about the cover - which I mainly like, but not the horse. He/she is so HUGE and overwhelms Stevie, who looks beautiful here.... a dragonfly might have been better since that is what highwayman rode..

It does sadden me a bit that you have not yet been able to connect with any of what little we do have of the new album, but I am sure that once the album comes out there will be something. For casual fans, this will be an amazing cover. It's eye-catching and appealing. But knowing what I know about Stevie and having seen so many pictures of her, I just feel like this cover is over-done to the point of being ridiculous.

I actually had to leave this thread last night for that reason! It is what it is guys, let it be! For gods sake, she's dammed if she does & dammed if she doesn't! For someone to instantly blow the friggin picture up and point out all the flaw's

And yes I agree it dosent look like her, too young looking, butt so what!
