Well f**king goof for f**king Brittney and Lady Gaga, but who gives a crap and what does that have to do with interest in Stevie's album. I mean we got a whole freaking song 4 months before the album release date.

Am I anxious for a track list and an album cover and maybe this sizzle reel, Yea. But the album is coming out on May 3rd whether we get this stuff or not. We are 2 months a way from a full new album coming out and your loosing interest because Lady Gaga and Brittney Spears have some videos out. I'm really baffled by that post.

I only used them as examples since they all have albums coming out around the same time. I'm losing interest because I wasn't excited in the first place for an album co-written by a rather obscure producer and the lack of anything truly substantial in the past 10 years. This whole thing has been a huge tease-fest for us, I guess I just don't have the patience required to deal with getting stills of a woman that's not even Stevie.

My point was the video is irrelevant and the teases are irrelevant, both annoying but irrelevant. It shouldn't reduce interest. I was unawarse of the prior knowledge that your interest was slim already based on the whole cowrtiing formality.

Honestly, I think most of us are just annoyed with the album getting delayed, having to wait 10 years in the first place, we're highly dubious of the people Stevie's collaborating with for this album, and what it will mean to her sound. I'm sure all of our fears will be quelled on May 3rd, but until then, I think a great deal of us are a bit freaked out and cranky. Dave's teases just seem to be rubbing salt in our wounds.

Exactly. The teases were exciting the first few months, but now they have gotten annoying. It seemed promotion for the album was going to kick into full gear in Feb, but it seems to have just fallen off the cliff. There have been lots of Stevie interviews, but most have been repetitive. The only actual things we've gotten for this album is a promo shot, a single, and the single cover. No videos, no promos, no clips, no tracklisting, no album cover, not even dates as to when to expect this stuff. Of course I will be excited when this comes out, but as of right now I think we all have the right to be fed up with their shenanigans.

Exactly, so what's a couple more months? Yall's need to chill, it's right around the corner. And I got even more of a tease hearing some of the songs only once but I'm just waiting it out like a nice, sweet, patient chiffonhead lol. Trust me though, I'm just as eager as you guys are but there's not much we can do about it.

yea and how can you still be freaking out over Stevie's callaboration choice after we have first hand accounts from 2 ledgies with i'd say very good taste saying what they heard (which is 70 percent of the album) is awseome.

It is like when you are running late for work and that person infront of you wants to go ten miles an hour in a 45. She has made us wait an obnoxious amount of time and freely teased us all this time, with talks of making another solo album for YEARS, and boasting that this one was coming out March 1, yet it seems she is still in no hurry whatsoever.

Would you buy a car without driving it because your neighbor once drove one around the block? The thing is, taste is highly subjective. Especially since those who attended the industry event probably had their opinions altered because they were in the room with Stevie herself. I'd argue that had they simply sat in a room alone listening to the songs, they would have come out with very different impressions. Jamie and Lindsay were excited because they were having a once in a lifetime experience... hence both have problems remembering exactly what songs were played, precisely what they sounded like, etc. I'm not begrudging them those things one bit. I probably would have lost bladder control and passed out from the excitement... and wouldn't have remembered ANYTHING .

My point is, those who are worried/annoyed/etc still very much have a right to be that way, in my opinion. Those who are uncontrollably excited and optimistic have that same right. To each their own .

By the time the album is out, in 59 days, we'll all be as giddy as school children and all will be well...but for now i just want that f****** album cover!!

Well no, she hasn't mentioned doing a new album at all until 2010. She said March 1st back in August, and was 2 months off, not 2 years.

In 2003, before SYW was released, she said she would begin work on her next solo record after the Fleetwood Mac tour was over. In 2005 when asked if she had plans for doing a solo album anytime soon she replied "Absolutely! I’ve already begun writing!" In 2007 she said she had been planning on doing a solo album but then WB called her about Crystal Visions. In 2009 she said she was going to do another album after the whole Fleetwood Mac thing was over, which she is finally doing.

I totally agree with this post. However, I do trust Dave. I like everything I heard so far. I don't trust Stevie. She's been championing her own albums, calling them her best for years. Frankly, some of them were so god-awful they should of never been released. I'm still worried though. I hope her excitement and her expanations to Dave and those around her did not cloud their listening ears.
