I did read the lyrics but never heard a youtube clip until yesterday. Stevie only referred to the song at my listening session as The Twilight Song so it never occured to me that the "vault" song everyone was looking for could be a song about a new movie? Even the ledgie who was in SD didn't make the connection when she was there and she KNEW LFTM. I will say that I did not like The Twilight Song AT ALL when I heard it...I thought it was one of the weaker cuts but it began to grow on me after 3 or 4 listens. I am still kind of surprised that this is the song everyone is excited about. I thought there were much better songs on the record. But I am not attacking anyone because their opinion is different than mine.

I am a SN fan but I do not own demos and do not know much of her unreleased work. I knew Blue Water and a f ew others and dispelled those long ago from being on the record. Nothing I posted was false or a ruse to rile up people on the board. I honestly don't know why people would do that. I haven't seen trolls on this board but again, I am not on it as much as others.

I am glad someone else heard the record and is providing you with information. It doesn't sound like the listening party in SD heard the whole record? I am sure once titles are released, everyone will settle down. I think the record is great and think her fans will love it.

Lady from the Mountain is one of the BLANDEST demos. I gave it maybe 1 minute before I turned it off on youtube. Obviously Stevie's new version is going to be much more produced. Plus, its been 30 years since the demo was recorded...her voice has changed. I wouldn't have put the 2 together either.

Hmmm I don't think it's slanderous to question someone that has repeatedly turned up posting information that was already available to anyone with online access. Also I'd be more than happy to read posts by someone that appears to be providing genuine and accurate information that is truly "news" and not non-information.Not sure how I could be jealous of someone I do not even believe has heard the album.

Have to say the crap about chasing away "Insiders" is a bunch of BS. Who cares if you chase away a supposed insder (not) if they don't provide any real information anyway. These defenders are just bored and just trying to start crap. Let'em snark away. They blow.

you're right - very questioning. silly me!

considering you've not heard the album, and obviously have no inside contacts of your own - how could you possibly determine the "accuracy or genuineness" of FM77's posts? i'm sure you'd choose to write-off any person who would claim they've heard the album.

No one who was at the listening party mentioned the song I originally thought to be the vault song that had a line at the end of the chorus that sings, "I used to think that/you were an angel"...it was my favorite song.

It is very hard to provide "new" information to someone who already knows it all. Good for you.
