Hello Everyone...

This is my first post on the Ledge in years! I had participated back in 1997 during the Dance tour, then *shamefully* fell away for awhile.

I love reading everyone's posts about the band and the new tour.
The "unpopular FM opinions" thread is exceptionally hilarious!

I just wanted to stop by to encourage anyone who was considering trying for better seats for their shows to DO IT! I checked Ticketmaster for the Pittsburgh show earlier this week and found center section SECOND ROW! I bought them, of course!

I, too, fell victim to the "scam club" and my original seats were not horrible, not not good, either. I am totally disgusted with the entire fan club experience, but live and learn I guess.

Things that Make Me Grit My Teeth: A Pittsburgh soft rock radio station gave away tickets to tonight's concert and the kicker was also winning BACKSTAGE PASSES to meet the band! Of course I tried to win, and (of course) I failed. The woman who won was screaming like a banshee.

I'm not bitter that I didn't win....really...I'm not.

Anyway, it's nice to be back...and hopefully I'll have some interesting experiences to share with you from tonight's show.

PS-One other thing...for the person who posted a while ago about the Lindsey Buckingham backstage pass with the cowboy riding the pig...and wondering if it was for real....it is. I bought a T-shirt with that very image when I saw him open for Tina Turner in Pgh in 1993. Needless to say, I've never worn it! Hey, it was Lindsey-related...so I had to have it!!

PS: Mike told me DVE gave away 1st or 2nd row tickets yesterday for the person who could tell them where the name "Fleetwood Mac" came from - I launched into this big long story to Mike about Peter Green's bday gift of studio time from John Mayall...calling Mick & John to back him up...doing an instrumental which Peter named "Fleetwood Mac" after his fave rhythm section...........Mike says, "All they wanted was 'Fleetwood' after Mick Fleetwood and 'Mac' after John MCVie. It took 3 people to answer correctly... SIGH

I was hoping you'd scan The Ledge before the concert! I'm glad to hear you WILL BE going tonight! Woo hoo!

It took THREE people to get the history of Fleetwood Mac right??? Come on! "Uh...I think it was named after a car and the Big Mac, right? What did I win? What did I win?" I would be curious as to what the first two people said.

My friend at work (who has also been informed of my Lindsey "obsession") told me he expects nothing less from me than totally jumping on stage and attacking the man! I told him to watch the 11 o'clock news: "Rabid Fan Attacks Fleetwood Mac Guitarist."

(now, that doesn't sound like me...does it???)

Well...I can't wait...and I'll be sure to find you and Mike NO MATTER WHAT!
