I became a fan of Camper Van Beethoven in my college days in the late eighties. It was really strange that decades later they released their own version of Fleetwood Mac's Tusk album. It was recorded years prior, when they had an odd fascination for the album.

so I have been saving $$$$ to get to usa to see a solo tour this time!

I did that for the GOS tour. If you can do it without hurting yourself too much financially it's a great experience. He puts on a fantastic show. Plus you get a holiday to the states out it!

Great news about the photo shoot. These will probably be the promo pictures that he uses for the next two or three years for everything so it's good to hear they turned out well. (Even if it was from the person who took them...)

Very exited about this new album, loved GOS (both the old and the released version)
wasn't expecting this at al still recovering from the shock of how soon GOS and UTS were released so relatively close to one another

and a stevie album aswell

I have never seen him solo, although i was lucky in 2004 when i was on vacation in the US i got to see Fm 3 times in the 2 weeks i was over there, funny thing was my vacation plans were made 2 years prior when i had no clue they would be touring when i was over there and in the same state aswell (California) what are the odds. (already went to newcastle to see em in late 2003 and saw them for the first time here in holland during the unleashed tour, after i had already seen them 4 times abroad lol
