What’s your 9 to 5?

Just curious - what's everyone’s 9 to 5?

Astronaut? Supermodel? Celebrity chef? Professional Stevie impersonator? Etc., etc.

Me –nothing glamorous. I work as a medical illustrator at a university in Canada. Well, it’s a living.

I'm a business and history student in my junior year at a SUNY college. It doesn't pay well (I have to pay them

) and sometimes, especially on Thursdays this semester, I'm basically there from 12:50 to after 9 PM (it's Sci Fi Forum meeting and diner run that night)

I sleep as late as my body will let me(usually noon), then I either:
1) Do sound or lights for a band, that evening.
2) Play in a band, on weekends.
3) Deal with rental properties, being a landlord.

I've really got it made. Not so much money wise, but time wise. I usually have about 3-4 days off a week. There are weeks (few) that I'll work 6-7 days, and there are weeks when I only work 2 days. I like it like that. It allows for my travels.

I'm part of the Finance group at a large environmental engineering company that works with the DoD.

By day I go to college studying Vet Assistant, & I have a part time job as a sales clerk at a shoestore, Naturalizer.

Student teaching...7th and 8th grade English.

When I'm not at school, I work in a hospital: radiology department.

Besides going to school Monday-Friday 9-3:30 for Cosmetology...3 or 4 nights a week I work at a Church Rectory as a Receptionist

I've already taken two separate weeks in Nashvegas, in 2011. Where the beer runs are walks down on Broadway, drinking PBR, with a flask of Jim Beam Red Stag in my coat pocket.

At home, I rarely drink beer. Solo, I drink red wine. With company, usually whiskey and a mixer.
