Worse, songs from the new album such as Running Through the Garden and Peacekeeper were folded into the bland delivery.
Peacekeeper I can understand, but RTTG...?? How the hell can that raging guitar solo possibly be delivered "blandly"...??

Seems like this guy expected more new songs in concert. Maybe he has a point? Without Christine the band shouldn't waste set list space on old music that featured her work as a cornerstone. They should keep enough of the old Stevie and Lindsey songs for nostalgia, but they should play at least half of the 18 songs from SYW. Don't they want people to accept them going in a new direction? Why be sacred to play the music that represents your new sound? If you put out an 18 track cd you need to get that music out in front of the fans and not bury it in the middle of an oldies act. The 9-10 best songs on SYW should be put into the set even if the band has to play a 3 hour set to do it! LOL!

Lindsey "proving his prowess as a rock god"...uhm, I really enjoy LB's music and style, but rock god he is not. I didn't really think LB ever even thought of himself as a rock god...more of a pop god if anything else. Pfft on this guy...that was a crappy review anyway.

Ok so that review sucked! I am not surprised as many of the "new" reviewers dont know crap about the MAC. So to start...to say that Stevie did not sing with animation was just false. She was the Stevie she has always been in her concerts..guess he has never been to one before. She smiled and was animated and moved her arms and looked around. How can one describe that as non-animated? Then the real biggie...the Lindsey comment. At no point did Lindsey ever "try" to act like a rock god. He was happy and was kicking ass in a great concert, which he KNEW they were kicking ass in, so he showed it! How is that "acting" like a rock god? I tell you these reviewers should get a life and know a little more about the band before they try to knock them down. It was an awesome concert for a FM fan...enough said.
