Um...well...um...NO!! That's not Christine's McVie's song from Rumours, that's Bob Welch's Avenue M song (from his Greatest Hits CD). Yeah, that's it...that's the ticket!

Hadn't thought of that, that's interesting, and lyrically it does sound like something Stevie would handle better.

Was trying to get one of each major* writer throughout the band's history into the set.

*= 10 or more songs written, recorded & released by the band.
Had no idea he did that, but I haven't heard any of Bob's solo stuff yet. Well, I like this song choice best. Sentimental Lady is my favorite Bob Welch song after Future Games.

I think he handled Green Manalishi fine along with Welsh and Kerwin songs. He has always done a great job on Oh Well.

Just my opinion obviously, but I didn't care for how his younger voice sounded on those two Peter Green songs or Hypnotized. Thought his guitar playing was fine. I do love him on Station Man, though.

Also, it's Bob Welch and Danny Kirwan. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine.

My 20 would be, in no particular order of play:-

1. Tusk
2. Oh Diane
3. Tango In the Night
4. Bleed To Love Her
5. Big Love (TITN album version, not single guitar)
6. World Turning
7. Say Goodbye
8. Stand Back
9. Go Insane (GI album version, not single guitar)
10. What's The World Coming To
11. Little Lies
12. Oh Well
13. Come
14. Monday Morning
15. Say You Love Me
16. Say You Will
17. I Know I'm Not Wrong
18. Gypsy
19. Eyes Of The World
20. My Little Demon

Much as I like Big Love and Go Insane played with single guitar, does anyone else, like me, actually prefer the studio album versions?

I never want to hear those songs played with a single guitar ever again. Go Insane sounded great with the band and I bet Big Love would too.

I saw a tribute band play Big Love the other week. They were playing with the Ulster Orchestra so it won't be exactly as FM would do it but they did a full band version.

It started with one of the guitarists playing an abridged, instrumental solo guitar version of Big Love before the whole band opened up in to the studio version and it was really good. None of the players were of the same level as anyone in FM but they were decent and it was a highlight of the show so I'm sure if FM did it then it would be phenomenal.

Having said that, I still love the single guitar version. It's amazing how much it fills up the hall with sound.

Since we know Fleetwood Mac is touring next tour, I thought I'd bump this thread of mine from last year.

Basically post your "No Rumours album songs" setlist for the Mac tour next year. Its the same line-up as the Unleashed tour. Feel free to add solo, BN, or Christine songs understanding though that Christine isn't performing.

Several of you probably already done this, but feel free to do it again.
