On a random note, I've been listening to some demos of "Dial the Number", and totally love the song. I have always loved it, but really am digging it right now. I feel like it could be beautifully done in today's Stevie!

Updated to reflect Rolling Stone report that the album has 13 tracks, not 14.

You're only showing 5-6 Dave Stewart collaborations. The RS article said 7 were on the album.

I'm hoping that the cut track was one of the Mike Campbell collabs. The less Mike Campbell, the better!

I don't know. One of those Mike Campbell tracks looks like it's going to be a single by the tidbits I've heard.

Really? I think it's the exact opposite for me. I always LOATHED the demo of "Secret Love"...but I can't get enough of the new finished version! I'm stoked that the album version will have another minute to it.

I really like the demo of Annabel Lee, so I'm really interested to see where Dave and Glen will take the song, if Stevie's vocal is as good as it is on Secret Love... we could be in for a real treat!

Who said the "album" version is longer?

I thought that was just speculation because the song is short. The more I listen to the song, I'm liking the length. Everything about it is perfect. Much better than the demo, but still true to the demo.

Now bring on Annabel Lee ...Always liked the demo & can only imagine how flippin' fantastic it turned out in the studio with Dave & Glen.

Also interesting is how "this is her best album ever" is all the buzz with industry peeps. It's like we're being um - "prepared" to believe this is her best album ever... not that it won't be, just an observation...
