Well at first looking at her condo from the outside,[ google] i thought what a peculiar place to live... Stevie of all people? situated right on a highway, no ocean in sight, i noticed tennis courts across the road, thinking out loud here i should apply for a tennis coaching position, as that's what i do here in OZ. lol.. Anyway the second picture looking from inside out to the sea looks to be magnificent & a cool place to live.. Back on topic i would be more than happy if they did the video in Stevie's Condo, so much more interesting than a fake studio in Hollywood

Okay, I can accept Dave Stewart may have a personally vested interest in working on the video, but shouldn't they be on a soundstage in Burbank or something? Why on earth are they shooting a video inside of her condo? Is she going to be standing at her kitchen counter stabbing an onion with a Ginsu knife when she mouths the words "...my secret love secretly died?" There should be dry ice. Industrial fans blowing around yards of chiffon. And more treadmills, puhlease! Hopefully they are going to shoot in other locations, and I don't mean the condo complex's pool and bocce court!
You know, why wouldn't they just use her Pacific Palisades interview house. I mean it's already set up for filming and everything...

Don't post the location of band members' homes on this board. If the information is easily obtainable, let others obtain it elsewhere. Not here.

I can't wait to see what they come up with. It's been a long time since there's been an actual video.

Firstly, having lived in LA until a few years ago, I can tell you that many famous people live in very easy-to-access homes. Not everyone is on gated grounds. Hell, Faye Dunaway (Oscar winning actress) lived on a very well-traveled street a few blocks from my house in West Hollywood, and I'd see her carrying groceries from the car, or watering her lawn!

At the beach, most of the cool places to live are along Pacific Coast Highway, and people live there regardless of the traffic, in million $ beach cottages and hi-rise condos.

As for the video, does anyone watch VH-1 anymore? I haven't seen it on my cable system for quite awhile. I would suspect the video is for promotional purposes only, and YouTube is the most likely place we'll see it play. (Or clips of it as intros when she is doing any TV appearances for the CD.)

Just because they are a celebrity, it does not mean that they have to live on a huge hill and in a huge mansion.

Sorry for posting the address guys. And thank you to the moderators for taking it down and addressing the situation.

Do we know this was for sure filmed at her condo? The pic appears to be taken at her condo, but he could have met her over there and they could have gone to a soundstage somewhere else.

She doesn't have her Pacific Palisades house anymore. Sad. It's beautiful though.

Oh, really?? I never heard it sold and was under the impression the pics Dave took of them recording at her "house" was that one... It had the same mural and staircase that was in other photos of interviews there.

Get with the times people...Nobody watches videos on MTV or VH1 unless they are on the classic channels. Even then, they are just people sipping on their coffee before a long day of work.

The internet (youtube, news sites, itunes) is where music videos are exposed. Radio, MTV, VH1 no longer matter when it comes to Stevie's music. Her album has to spread like wild fire on the internet and on the tour circuit. That is the only way for her new music to spread. Those old outlets don't provide diddly-squat for classic rock artists. Even the amount of NEW music played on the radio is limited.

On a somewhat related note...I was in Target yesterday and I happened to stumble upon the CD section. Then it occured to me. What is this compact disc section even for? I think the last time I bought a CD it was Gift of Screws and that was because I am a die hard Mac fan. I don't even bother to buy CD's of other artists that I religiously follow.

I think it is dumb to spend time worrying about "album" sales because the whole music industry has changed. I think the sales figures for Stevie's album are going to be low and that fans here are going to go apesh*t..When I really do not think that "album sales" represent anything at all anymore.

In college, I get exposed to a large and diverse amount of music almost every weekend. When one of my friends asks me if I have heard this song by so and so, they immediately go to youtube or play the song from their Ipod that they have downloaded illegally.

Album sales mean squat in 2011 folks. Music is exposed through the internet these days. Just because the billboard numbers might be low does NOT mean that people aren't listening or enjoying her album.

I actually heard from Sara Fleetwood. It's in a pretty public place, so it's really easy to just drive by.

Location aside, am I the only one who is a bit concerned by the, um, low budget DIY nature of this video project? Okay, I can accept Dave Stewart may have a personally vested interest in working on the video, but shouldn't they be on a soundstage in Burbank or something? It's in the Pacific Palisades. I've seen that one, too. Again, thanks Sara.

Yeah, I drove by when I was in LA. I was a bit surprised too - it does seem a bit modern for her. But, what a great view of the ocean.

BTW, if you want to be Stevie's neighbor, it will only cost you about five big ones:

Looking past the exquisitely ugly decor in this unit, I could possibly see the potential in capturing some dramatic footage. This room reminds me of some of the pictures used on the inner sleeves of the Tusk LP.
For the record, all the blinds were pulled down when I was there....
